webipsum
A problem that's been occurring here since Beta 5: Sometimes when I turn on or restart my Hackintosh and try to boot into macOS Tahoe using OC 1.0.5, the boot process continues without opening macOS Tahoe (only those verbose lines are displayed), and then stops after a while. If I restart it again, it normally loads into macOS Tahoe (currently Beta 7). Any tips? Tks! EDIT: This happens very rarely. Most of the time it goes in normally. asdesoso
Hi, I am be able to install Tahoe on a Haswell desktop rig, but MB/KB doesn´t work, I investigated a lot, and requires patch USB Map, at Sequoia from Big Sur with OC, I don´t need to to anything, just put my EFI, upgrade every year, from Big Sur to Sequoia, and all works, but Apple with Tahoe changed the using of USB ports. Can anyone helps me? If anyone has the patched kext for Haswell desktop I appreciated to post it. Thanks in advance. Cheers. From other hand, I also be able to install it on my HP EliteBook 2570P, and it works USB MB and internal trackpad/keyboard, also BT and ACPI, but nothing more, no WiFi, no Ethernet, no HD 4000, no audio, can anyone help me with that? Thank you. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/134/#findComment-2839496 Share on other sites

deeveedee
Not sure where to report this ... Broadcom Bluetooth stopped working for me on my HackBookPro6,2 starting with macOS Sonoma (so it wasn't working in Sonoma 14.7.7, Sequoia 15.6 and Tahoe Beta). I was able to fix the problem by adding boot-arg -btlfxboardid. I hope this helps others. boot-args: -btlfxboardid My bluetooth/Wi-Fi module is Broadcom BCM 94352HMB EDIT: The addition of boot-arg -btlfxboardid does not affect Bluetooth operation in Ventura (in fact, it might work better), so boot-arg -btlfxboardid will become a permanent addition to my HackBookPro6,2 EFI. Broadcom Bluetooth now working in Big Sur through Tahoe Beta. EDIT2: I checked the commits to BluetoolFixup.kext after version 2.6.9 and see that the automatic BoardID patch was removed AFTER BluetoolFixup.kext version 2.6.9. The -btlfxboardid boot-arg is relevant only to EFIs that use BluetoolFixup.kext version 2.7.0 and later. Matgen84
To all: Update from Beta 6 to incremental Beta 7, always the same issue at latest stage (on Z390, Opencore 1.0.5): stuck on login screen after entering admin user password. At least two hours later, Tahoe is finishing the process. After this issue, I can boot Tahoe correctly. Curiously, like previous Beta update: gatekeeper is re-enable, heliiport and efi-agent apps are dispeared from Applications folder and startup apps 🥲 1 4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/134/#findComment-2839503 Share on other sites

Hi, I know you said it with a touch of humor, but the fact is that we keep cleaning this topic of useless comments and despite that, some continue to pollute it. But I think that now it is too much. So either everyone plays the game and keeps this topic clean, or we'll lock it until further notice and/or sanctions will be imposed on those who pollute it. It's up to you. deeveedee
@Matgen84 Maybe here. Once created, you might want to provide background info (or move your previous hack-specific posts to your thread). @fantomas I'm guilty of OT posts, so I'd be a hypocrite if I said more. Thanks for appreciating my subtle humor. Feel free to delete my post, too, if necessary. Edited just now by deeveedee Thanks, but boot-args: -btlfxboardid is unlikely to help me because I don't have BrcmPatchRAM installed and Broadcom Bluetooth works natively for me, but requires a drop of the DMAR table in Tahoe. I'm more interested in the OCLP root patch that will make Wi-Fi work again. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/134/#findComment-2839519 Share on other sites
