zisqo
i was update a OpenCorePkg-R0.5.6-DevBuild-02252020_230249.zip and AppleSupportPkg-R2.1.6-DevBuild-02262020_001206.zip (Recently OCpkg and ApplesupportPkg files) however after updating, password: screen appears and must be booted by pressing ESC key. if i entered my Mac OS system password, it just get an error as shown in the screenshot. and i couldn't see the boot disk list when press ESC at the booted. ex) 1. Bootcamp 2. macOS 3. recoverly hd what was my problem? previously "OpenCorePkg-R0.5.6-DevBuild-02242020_025048.zip" oc bootloader are working fine. configuration.pdf and difference.pdf don't have any explanation for this problem, so i wondering somebody ask this issue. i think some options are slipped it in Config.plist or Is something missing from the source code in OCpkg & ApplesupportPkg. how think about this is? Ok, but where can we find this utility? 'Cause I googled it but can't find anything about it? is this similar thing with Memtest? BTW, HideAuxiliary does not hide Tools on the BootPicker. I added HdaCodecDump.efi to Tools and my HideAuxiliary set to YES, but it's just hiding Clear NVRAM and Recovery. Doesn't HideAuxiliary hide Tools? epxpc01
i am trying to learn patching dsdt's. I have been trying to understand an Opencore guide (here: https://khronokernel.github.io/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/Desktops/desktop-ec.html to patch a Coffee Lake AWAC issue and just don't get it. I really need to learn so I can test many different motherboards. What I have done: So I used SSDTTime to dump my dsdt, then I used iasel to decompile, then go over to Maciasl to add the necessary Coffee Lake patches form here: https://khronokernel-2.gitbook.io/opencore-vanilla-desktop-guide/intel-config.plist/coffee-lake and that is where I am lost. In Clover RTC it is an easy Acpi Patch, but I am just not getting this lol. Read the manual please There are more parameters than that. You don't have to mark something explicitly for it to be hidden with this setting. An entry is considered auxiliary when at least one of the following applies: • Entry is macOS recovery.• Entry is explicitly marked as Auxiliary. • Entry is system (e.g. Clean NVRAM). mikorist
I'm trying a few days of OpenCore on the Lenovo G50-70. When the boot starts - goes in the loop - ACM endlessly tries to register Biometrics and ends with tx_flush: 1028.... and here it stands As far as I know my G50-70 doesn't have a finger print reader. There is no such setup in BIOS either. Here is my last version of OC EFI (with ACM loop). MacOS Catalina 10.15.3 (19D76)Maybe someone can fix it. Thanks for help. telepati
Guys, I don't get it what is this "#" sign doing exactly? Explanation this; Fixed drivers starting with # not being skipped But what does exactly mean? Cause when we compile AppSupportPkg. AudioDxe.efi coming without the "#" sign. But now the default sample.plist adding efi with "#AudioDxe.efi" If I do not add "#" to AudioDxe.efi will not work or with and without work?
