If you want the latest commit of OC, it's probably faster to use the Dortania builds compared to building yourself. They're built on every commit, which can be used for troubleshooting as well if you need previous commits.
It's not just OC as well, most Acidanthera projects are in there as well as a few others

@Alex HQuest Apple has not yet released a version of Xcode that is compatible to run under Monterey's beta environment.

Apple usually updates Xcode just prior to a final release of a new macOS version is seeded, which for Monterey will still take a while.

Greetings Henties

If so, it seems the problem is not within Monterey Beta but with OC if you can build with Clover. I too find I can successfully build OC in BS but the build fails in Monterey as reported by others although I now take the builds from Dortania.

Got a link to the dortania repo for builds?

Not to prolong the debate the ability or not to build OC in Monterey as I have now opted to get my builds from Dortania. I have again just tried to build OC in Monterey and grab a few screenshots from the build error log (attached. Maybe someone with a keen eye will spot (I am looking at you Chris1111 since you asked, where is the difficulty :)) I have added a few differences between building in BS and Monterey.

Errors for me are the same as in your screenshot.

@chris1111 Ok Bro thanks for the reply and clarification.

try this let me known if that help you

This script allows you to build OpenCore.
You need Xcode and the Command Line tool installed.

Xcode must be opened at least once to install the components

Everything is create on a RAMDISK no fille on the system exepted nasm if you not have it, the output is move on Desktop.

Works in macOS Catalina 10.15, macOS Big Sur 11, macOS Monterey 12

NOTE: Make sur Desktop/OpenCore folder not exist because the script will delete it and replace

if you have it rename or move it

Hi Chris thanks Bro, unfortunately using this app failed with the same errors as latest XCODE version. Not to worry, I will wait for the next Monterey update and see what results I get. I appreciate the kind gesture.

Error log attached.

I am unable to get Beta 5. Is Beta 5 a Developer Beta only, OR is it Public? :worried_anim:

(I do not have a developer account with Apple, only a regular one.)

EDIT: If it matters, running Windows 10 OS+VMware Workstation Pro 16.1.x (slightly older and not latest version) and macOS Monterey Beta inside a VM. :)

Beta 5 is Developer beta. In the beginning of the thread you have the developer beta utility.

Me too 🙂 "Your Mac is running the latest software update allowed by your administrator" already exists on Catalina (real Mac). Why this message appears now ? I don't know.  It does not matter, because the new user you create when you first set up your Mac is an administrator.
