Yea I also had to change from iMac 19.1 to a iMac Pro1.1 to enable Apple TV and play my Apple movie collection and that solved the problem. When you changed to Pro1.1 did you disabled the integrated Graphics as advised by some to do? My system only consists of a dedicated Graphics Card so it was not so hard for me.

Hi @eSaF

Thanks for your answer but I only have iGPU, so I can't disable that in the bios...

Thank you

PS: @Blu24, I'll appreciate if you, please, share your config.plist for me to compare with mine...

Thanks

@Matgen84 - Yea just leave it, let the installer do its thing, just give the mouse a little nudge if you think its hanging. The trick is to look at the Hard Drive light and look for activity. :thumbsup_anim:

My external Hard drive seems to be active: Light led flashes almost an hour and a half :) A little bit long rather than other macOS version :hysterical:

Finally, OC 0.6.0 latest version works fine on Mojave 10.14.6 and Catalina 10.15.5.

Boot to Big Sur beta2 installer stage 1 and install to target APFS volume, OC works fine too.

But when boot to stage 2 macOS installer... it stuck at Apple logo and reboot as pics.:wallbash:

Waiting for Big Sur beta 3.....

Did you try reboot again after the Killing process?

@Blu24 - In Betas and some released versions, you can't really go by 'Time Left' as it is not reliable at best.

PS - Have a look at the Hard Drive light and note the rhythm of the emissions, if it is regular, it could be hanging, if it is sporadic it is still busy writing, but realisticly one hour and a half on 2 minutes remaining is too long

@eSaF On my external hard drive,  the rhythm of the emissions is regular. If it could be hanging. As @crazybirdy says, Big Sur didn't like me  :hysterical:

Hello everyone
I initially installed beta 1 on my signature PC, everything works except audio.
I installed beta 2 and the audio still doesn't work
My ALC892 sound card with the clover inject = 5 and it works, while with opencore it doesn't work I made several tests "-lilubetaall alcid = 5 keepsyms = 1" alcid = 1,2,3,4,5,7,9,28 , 92.99 does not work.
I have the latest Lilu and AppleALC
How can I solve the problem
Thank you

use a different USB drive.

I use SSD for one installer partition, one APFS target partition. I don't have big size USB now.

I think, Big Sur beta 3 will be more friendly to me.......

I use Clover to install Mojave, Catalina before, never use OC to install Mojave, Catalina, will try it later.

Today it's the first time OC works fine on my hack with 10.14.6, and 10.15.5, and first time to install Big Sur beta 2.

Maybe I need to do more test with Big Sur later.
