I do indeed but I also have all the old OS virtualised and use fusion if I need them. I also have windows XP and up on fusion and a few versions of Linux.

I used the two BT files but it was a no go, Audiogod reckoned I'd have to include HS14 in my USB Mapping  to get BT to work but I couldn't be bothered to go through USB mapping again. WIFI worked perfect but BT didn't even show up on my system. So what Are you using for BT connection?

Sorry man i didnt read your post. i dont use BT for the moment, just wondered if it would work with these kexts.

I use Clover so i dont know if there is another way..

Tomorrow I’m going to put my test drive back in and see if I can get Bluetooth going properly via OC and then Clover. Il let you know what happens.

Ok i think i did it!!

I dont know how stable it will be, but i managed to pair with my Galaxy Note 8 and send a file to it!

Copy  the IntelBluetoothInjector and IntelBluetoothFirmware kexts to your EFI folder.

I Rebooted first in verbose mode to accept them otherwise i get the forbidden signal.

the next 2 boots were successful.

then i copied the modified SSDT-6-A M l to patched folder and voila!

If anybody can test and report would be great!

SSDT-6-A M I.aml

No i havent mapped anything.

I use the latest clover efi AG provided.

No usbinjectall kext.

Just enabled hs14 from ssdt, and cleared nvram a few times at clover boot screen to get rid the boot issues. Works from cold boot and reboot as far as i have seen.

Hopefully AG will be able to provide a better and more stable solution.

@eSaF My Clover = Full native USB something I can’t do with OC as it need MaLD0n magic and it’s clover only.

@dsynos80 You did exactly the right thing to enable the Bluetooth in clover. Well done. :thumbsup_anim:

Yup, i remember you mentioned this sometime ago, thats why i took the chance to try.

I cannot send any file to pc from phone but the opposite works, maybe an iphone would work.

I dont have any magic mouse or wireless keyboard to try.

And the strange thing it asks to enable tethering when connecting to my phone.

If i find anymore devices to test i will report back, but what aprogress in a day man! Wifi and BT!

@dsynos80 There’s also this to make the WiFi display properly and list it as WiFi instead of ethernet.

I’ve not tried it yet but give it a bash if you feel like it and let me know how it is?

Ok B - As long as it wakes I'm good but I will try with removing the argument from config and see the results, to be honest I've never know it working any other way even in Clover, I was just happy to get sleep and wake working when prompted or otherwise.

@WizeMan - What do you say should we out vote the Master on this one? :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:

Let's see what @AudioGod finds out after removing the kext :)

LOL No I am not that type of dude. I was just sleeping, bro :D Need clear mind to code @ work :D

Morning Coffee report.

Black80211.kext is not working, still shows as ethernet2

I have removed the bluetooth kexts, they cause boot error.

With only the modified SSDT 6 aml the bluetooth still works, but i cannot turn the bluetooth off.

@eSaF @WizeMan After running big sur fully for 24 hours on my main drive with a full install instead of on a test drive I can report that it is still full to the rafters with bugs. My gosh wtf Apple...:hysterical:

Anybody that thinks otherwise is tripping big time. No way is that ready for release of near GM status.

I might have to jump back to cat for the time being.

ironically bar one or two examples it’s not the third party software at fault it’s the baked in stuff.

@WizeMan Not using AirPortFixup works just fine but you still get strange wakes from sleep without it. With it I can have wake for network enabled and the system behaves, without it the system won’t stay asleep for long if at all unless I shut my whole network down or untick all power options like wake for sleep and power nap. AppleWatch works fine without it but my view on it is still the same I’m afraid.

Sleep works better with it and there’s no downside other then some strange pride people get when they don’t use it. Beats me to why on that one...lol

Doing a side by side against my MacBook Pro, the sleep behaviour is exactly the same as the MacBook when using the kext and without it they act totally different while in there sleep states. For me that’s is 100% conclusive proof when it’s up against the real deal.

Darkwake is not working on BigSur and that’s official. Having to click once and wait and then click again for the system to fully wake up is not correct. You might not mind it but I like things to be right and without darkwake then fine it’s right but with it, no that’s wrong. (The clue is in the name of the flag really....DARKWAKE!!!!!!!)

Apart from buggy big sur none of it is a issue, it’s just wrong that’s all.

Sorry to hear that B, when you say running for 24hrs is that with program free or one running in the background? to be honest for what I do on mine, I've not had any problems apart from the Apple reported bugs.

About wake/sleep, when I double click everything comes back on line, if you single click only the p/c wakes. There is no waiting to speak of a split second or so but then again B, we must remember it's not an Apple machine so what should we expect :)

Heres a good one. Try and unpack a password protected Compressed file using Big Surs built in unarchiver.....:poster_oops:

I ran various tests including an overnight one, They all passed in fairness but there's loads of problems in between.

Again its not the third party apps at fault here its Big Sur itself and its all nothing more then bugs that can be fixed. my only point really is a lot or people think beta 10 is some kind of GM and I'm here to tell you that is all bull {censored} I'm afraid and its got at least 1 or 2 more beta goto yet. If they goto release from beta 10 it would be a disaster.

as for the wake sleep thing, I'm sorry I don't buy that response to it.

Its always worked as it should using darkwake=0 so now its broken I won't just accept it as a oh well its a hack thing, that's very defeatist of you. I would like to think that the OC Devs will get on top of that eventually as well as DRM being broken (for 19,1 etc) and have things back to normal.

Ok I get what you're saying, for obvious reasons your use is vastly greater than mine so I expect you to be more technically critical. On the other hand with my limited knowledge, I tend to got to the 'Feedback Assistant' for reported Bugs/Fixes and/or work arounds. So maybe I am being fooled by Apple.

Im not with you there bro, Apple fooling you how?

Virtualisation is pretty much buggered on big sur too. It works but it works like it’s a atom CPU never mind a 8 core CPU, I’ve tried 3 different programs for virtualisation now and all with the same results they work but they work really slow and I mean really really slow.

Hello! I have a frustrating issue with USB, my keyboard only works on a certain USB port, the problem is that my Bluetooth dongle also works only on that USB port, if I place either the keyboard or the USB dongle on any other port, they won't work! wtf! Is it kind of mapped somewhere? Is there a way to reset that mapping?

This the USB Ports output from hackintool:

Thanks! (I'm using latest EFI posted by @AudioGod without any modification)

If your using OpenCore and the mouse or Bluetooth is usb2 then it will only work on the front case ports, the usb2 hub or HS07 and that’s it.

if you want it some where else you will have to map your own USB.kext brother to suit your setup as I’m abiding by the 15 port limit.

Meaning I tend to read the Inbox of 'Feedback Assistant' with news of all the Beta progress, e.g iOS & iPad Beta4 Release Notes, Big Sur 11 Beta10 Release Notes etc, etc. Bear in mind they have to rely on uses to report any Bugs or Glitches. So what ever is reported, I run with the info.

Ok I get you now and what are they saying or claiming?

I don’t bother with there feedback, they don’t deserve my opinion :hysterical: (jokes, I’m just lazy)

They are both USB3 devices and they both work with USB 3 port HS03 only :/

Restart your system and reset your nvram 2 or 3 times in a row and see if it kicks into gear for you?

You sure they are USB3? I only ask because every Bluetooth dongle or keyboard ive ever seen is USB2, ive never came across a USB3 Bluetooth dongle or Keyboard. I’m sure they exist it’s just I’ve never seen one. Huh

Yea B like I said as much as they research, they still have to rely on outside feedback so you finding non reported Bugs won't be unusual in any way. They tend to send alerts to the Feedback Assistant when something new is discovered which I don't believe for one minute is extensive for every Bug found.

Ok let me sign into it and read this rubbish properly...lol

Il make the chumps a nice long fat list to chew over.

@AudioGod I just reset nvram 3 times in a row, but with no luck, and yes, you are correct it is USB2, I just forgot about it because it has the same size with my usb3 thumbdrive, sorry

I thought so, Ok so they will work where I stated earlier.

try the front ports first to make sure then the hub and then hs07

they should all work for you.
failing that where do you want it and I can make the adjustments for you?
