Rebuilding the kext cache does nothing here. In fact, it won't do squat if you aren't messing with local kext files (see corpnewt's response). You're injecting with Clover.

Yes but Yet if led to him discovering what the problem was and he fixed it.(He was messing with he’s local kext files via hackintool or ultracrap)

instead of coming in late with your moody responses why not read though before commenting.

Hello ,

When I activate the Sidecar system with the iPad this appears to me as in the picture attachment everything is working from bluetooth and the icloud account but a black screen appears .

please I want a solution to this problem and thank you very much

A quick aside, has anyone figured out a way to control LEDS on the mobo? I can boot into Windows and change but it doesn't retain settings in my hack? I know, I know, it s along shot but I thought I'd ask all the supper smart people here

yes you sure can, I used to make the profiles different colours everytime I released a new one (I still do it on the master thread)

what you got to do is in windows open up fusion and there’s 2 places you can set colours for the board. One is the detailed one where you can set different colours to different parts of the board but this won’t stick but if you click on back to the home page you can set an overall colour/theme to the board and this will stick as long as after you set the colour you leave fusion open and shut down the system. After that the next time you cold boot your colour you picked will still be there.

taaaa ddaaaaa...... It’s magic!

Exactly like @AudioGod said. You don’t event have to leave RGB Fusion open before shutting down.

Well if you haven’t altered my EFI in anyway then it should work out of the box.

you could try going into your plist and under DeviceProperties/PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) change AAPL,ig-platform-id value to 0300923E and restart. if that don’t work then I would say it’s something you have done to stop Sidecar from working fella.

try the above and see anyway.

Just updated to 10.15.5

 

When I start-up the finder takes a long time to respond and load the desktop icons.  This wasn't an issue with 10.15.4.  

 

Ant suggestions of where I should start trouble shooting

Bodged Install maybe,

Dirty OS Maybe from over time even more likely,

Cache Mess it could be,

Hardware conflict,

Many things tbh but its got nothing to do with 10.15.5 or the EFI (if your using my one untampered with) unless your some sorta special case and I don't think you are so that's my thoughts pal, make your conclusion from there.

using 19,2 as it matches the processor that I'm using, which I thought you were meant to do

 

probably a crappy os install, I've cleaned up a whole lot of stuff, but if that doesn't work I'll reinstall

Hi guys. I had a strange thing going on With my computer. My internet provider had problems and I got no network. The network cable was plugged to the computer and connected. My firewall was active. I tried to open adobe programs and DaVinci resolve but it wouldn’t work. I tried different things and it turned out that these programs wouldn’t work if I had an active connection without actually having internet from provider. The problem was solved once I pulled the network cable or deleted Ethernet connection in system preferences or disable fire wall. So somehow the combination of having an internet connection that doesn’t work plus fire wall active let’s certain software not open. Maybe someone like to try and check if it’s a common problem on Catalina. Just connect your computer to a router without network and activate fire wall and see if resolve or adobe opens.

It sure did! I knew I had this working at some point. Didn't realize you couldn’t use the custom settings. At least it's better then orange all the time!

 

Oddly, my Gigabyte RX570 doesn't light up while booted in hackintosh. Like I need one more light!

You can fix that too by simply using the rx570 software to set its colour too. And don’t have fusion set to auto start on boot up either to keep the system from getting baffled.

Are you serious? There is yet another app just for the RX570! Yikes. So one for motherboard (Fusion), one for AIO (Corsair iCue) and now one for GPU? This truly is mayhem!

Yup, I hate that too.

my fix for it was I bought a RGB hub that you can control anything RGB or ARGB connected to it and it has 3 buttons on it to control the colour, effect and speed and it works a treat.

i do my board and gpu via fusion and everything else via the hub. Bingo bango
