You have to make sure the board is abiding by the cpus rated TDP and power limits by disabling Enhanced multi core performance

Enhanced multi core performance = it is in bios right ?

Its means I have to disable OC and enhanced multi core and its should work ?

Do you know if Mojave works with the actual EFI polaris and a RX580 ?

Clover does yes 100%

OpenCore isn’t meant to the way I have it setup but saying that people are using it with Mojave and claim it’s fine.

As for your claims on 19,1...you sure do talk a lot of nonsense sometimes. if you don't know how to fix it or have no hard facts don't just claim its 19,1 use 1,1 instead (the lazy or defeatist answer) as your find there's always a fix. I run 19,1 for the sake of this thread and its perfect. :frantics:

I told him the fix for that, see above!

Your die there alone with the pigeons then where you belong,(with the pigeons that is) ...  puntang. :hysterical:;)

And if you need Proof of no Green anything via a photo/video preview under 19,1

Hey all my AORUS Pro people, if you are using Clover, check out a theme that I designed that is now included in the Clover 5118 installer! Purple_Swirl. It is a all SVG theme. :thumbsup_anim:

That’s awesome bro, I like it very much,

il make that the standard clover theme instead of neon from the next update.
Very Good :thumbsup_anim:

Ordered a PCI-e 4 port SATA card off eBay and it arrived yesterday.

Couldn't get it to work showing all drives last night.  Today got home and applied this kext patch in the Clover config file and now works fine.

Find    --> 40600200

AppleAHCIPort

On another note I sometimes have an issue when booting, only occurs occasionally (maybe AppleAHCIPort might fix it :)).  Just recently converted to NVME boot drive and using AudioGods latestest EFI and config file using clover. Image attached, any ideas?  I'm assuming its something that needs to be tweaked in the boot arguments.

You don’t need the plus 4 cpu power unless your extreme overclocking so I wouldn’t worry about that one buddy and I need more info on your WiFi card? Make and model?

tip, only use the bottom x8 or x1 pcie slot on the board for the WiFi or your get pcie lane problems

thanks for your reply. So it is one of those hacks sold by https://www.osxwifi.com, bought back in 2018. I worked fine since then.

Broadcom BCM94360CD - 802.11 A/B/G/N/AC with Bluetooth 4.0, it comes installed in a Mini PCI-E to PCI-E x1 adapter.

So tried to connect it to the PCIEX1_3, but the behavior I get is that when I do that the mobo refuses to POST and I don't get even into the BIOS splash screen.

Would expect this from the wifi card that I have? Or if I try with the x8 pcie slot and get the same issue it is most likely that the card has an issue?

thanks!

Hello, the installation of Mojave works perfectly now.
I would like to be able to use intel UHD 630 at any time instead of gpu. What change should I make? Is there necessarily a complete change of the EFi, or can I make both solutions work? I saw that the glasgood build gives the possibility of using the UHD 630.
Currently when I try Vega connected or not, I can arrive in the middle of loading macos, and then nothing.

Hi guys, can you help me with the random restart issue with Catalina?

Is it something I need to change in the EFI or in bios settings?

This is the EFI I used (thank you AudioGod!), everything works perfectly except for the random restarts.

Press Space to reveal it.

If you have a Polaris GPU you need to remove the shiki argument under 19,1 for it to work correctly But Smbios 1,1 will also serve you well.

What’s your system spec please in full?

Also please define a random restart in your instance?

If you want to use the igpu instead of the Radeon VII

you need to do the following to the config.plist:

1. Remove shikigva=80 bootarg

2. add igfxonln=1 bootarg (prevent HDMI issues after wake) and -wegnoegpu (Disable dedicated gpu)

Then remove the headless framebuffer and just add the right Framebuffer settings for the IGPU under Devices - Properties

For the i9900k with a UHD 630 its: plattform-id 3E9B0007 and device id 0x3E988086.

By the way it’s one or the other but not both unless the igpu is headless.

you can not use the igpu as a second gpu for output.

It usually restarts every 10-15 minutes when I'm browsing the web, streaming videos, with Safari and Chrome. Also happens when I'm not using the internet. :(

If your using clover then my DSDTs are wrong for your motherboard, I do not support the ITX version of the Pro board as it’s not the same as the standard version and has a totally different PCB and power delivery.

However, My OpenCore EFI  might work with your setup as it doesn’t rely on a dsdt to function so why not give that a try instead. (Instructions on how to use it are on page one)

if you want to use clover then you will need to get a new dsdt created for your motherboard, If that is what you would prefer to do then you can make a request for a dsdt here.

Depends what your using it for but yes it can help the card with a lot of it’s strange behaviour.
