That patch is purely for corsair AIOS, do you have a corsair AIO cos if not then its got nothing to do with it.

Read the instructions on the front page so you do it correctly.

@nelio33 Here I done it for you, Drop these kexts into your kext folder in the efi and restart and tell me if that fixes it for you?

what fans are they?

it could be the pcie adaptor the card is using causing sleep to fail with Catalina in that case as again I use the same card with zero trouble or issues. Mine is the ABWB BCM943602CS 802.11AC WI-FI With Bluetooth 4.0 PCI-Express (PCI-E).

Has anyone taken a look at this: https://github.com/AppleIntelWifi/adapter

Looks interesting. May be a while before it works though.

I’ve been following this for a while now. It would be cool if they got it to work properly as the intel card inside the master is dam good so it’s a pity it doesn’t work in macOS.
If it does ever work properly though Il be screaming about it on here very quickly....lol

@pkdesign another interesting project to watch out for is the RadeonBoost.kext

https://www.hackintosh-forum.de/forum/thread/47791-radeonboost-kext-benchmark-scores-wie-am-echten-mac-unter-windows/?pageNo=1

I'm currently testing it in my new beta OpenCore EFI and it’s getting better with every version,

give it a go and watch your geekbench score improve up 30% or greater depending on your card.

It seems to help with anything metal based but the only real world gain I’ve found so far is fortnight gained around 20fps.

give it a go it’s a working work in progress. :thumbsup_anim:

Do I remember right that the DSDT in your EFI has the wifi/bluetooth USB turned off?

Yes indeed but it’s open in OC (both versions)

it’s gonna be a while before the kext starts working so il factor it into the next bios firmware change and DSDT that gets made up for it but again it’s gonna be a good while I believe if ever.

Hmm, not seeing much difference. I'm guessing my RX570 isn't compatible.

Sounds like good news ! Ultimately it should just be a WEG option right ? There is some mention of it in the recent WEG commits but it's not in the releases yet.

Hi @AudioGod, I'm using your Clover Z390 Pro Navi Vega 19,1 EFI 060420.zip EFI with Vega 64 GPU. For OpenCore EFI you mentioned "Note - If your not using a 5700 XT or any other Navi GPU then remove agdpmod=pikera from the boot arguments". Should I keep using agdpmod=pikera in the boot arguments for Clover, or I can remove this boot flag?

Hiya, Yep go ahead and remove the argument as it’s only there for Navi GPUs :thumbsup_anim:

i remove  BCM943602CS from pcie adapter, i plug adapter on pci with usb cable connected sleep work, think adapter is ok.

i put BCM943602CS on adapter. i found this tread : https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/immediatelly-waking-up-from-sleep-with-wake-reason-glan-ehc2.278968/

I run log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"

Wake reason: XHC = USB

on mojave sleep work.

It actually is:

The Kext is not compatible with the current Cat betas and if Apple doesn’t fix bug or maybe it’s intentional, then in a months time, this Kext will die. The only chips that need this are the Navi chips. Polaris is already maxed out.

Your 570 is already running at peak performance. This is more for the Navi chips that are currently limited. A 5700 are typically getting lower or equivalent scores to that of a 580. You won’t see much if you have a Polaris card.

Also, LOL at using Geekbench as a marker. Run the metal scan 10x. My scores range from 38k to 47k.

Well, today i decided updating to Clover 5114 updated only clover.efi and apfsdriverloader.

All kexts were updated to the latest versions before that without issues.

Wow,slow boot on 5 attempts, even in cold boot. primary monitor changed...hmmm..

Back to the trusty 5108.

I am still on 10.14.6 maybe because of that?

Have you checked your power settings in hackintool are correct and repair them if they are not?

if not then do so buddy.

Also again using hackintool repair your permissions and rebuild your cache then restart and at the bootpicker reset your nvram (F11 if using clover)

Hi Audiogod,

Tried everything as u suggested but i am unable to fix sleep. I use your latest EFI. Sleep works if i remove usb header. Can you suggest me a fir or make changes to the efi. I HAVE 99.9% working hackintosh i will appreciate ur help if we are able to fix this last unresolvable issue.

It’s got nothing to do with the EFI unless you made changes to it from how I have it.

many many users on this thread are using a T919 with zero issues so I really don’t know what to suggest to do to fix it for you as nobody else has had this issue with your card.

In fact the T919 card is the most used combo card by other users on this thread.

If I or anybody else reading about your problem comes up with a solution for it then il let you know ASAP.

If you post your EFI exactly how your trying to use it i might be able to spot a mistake made to it by you or something like that.

@AudioGod  NDK

Now moved from Clover to OC and really love this one ==> Alternative EFI - OpenCore v0.5.7, No DSDT and Done the way OpenCore intended it (OC 057 Z390 Pro EFI 1,1 060420.zip).  Excellent work :thumbsup_anim:  I gave both OpenCanopy.efi and NdkBootPicker.efi themes a blast,  NdkBootPicker is a win for my hack :)  though I did make some cosmetic changes to background.png

Hope everyone good and safe!

@glasgood I’m glad you like it buddy, that means a lot coming from you. We are spoilt for choice now concerning bootpickers.

OpenCanopy works best with real OpenCore and ShowPicker set to false then just use alt and command to bring up the picker if needed.

OpenCore Is getting very clever now and doing a lot of the driver and ACPI work under the hood And it’s getting better and better with every revision.

Its my Favourite of the three at the moment but mainly because I love to tinker and play around with stuff so the changes are fun for me,,,, :hysterical:

I hope your keeping safe and well buddy and All is good in your world. :thumbsup_anim:

Hi @AudioGod.

I am currently in the process of getting myself ready to try this out on my Aorus Pro with 9700k. I currently have a RTX 2060 which I know won't be compatible, so I'm thinking I will just remove it completely while installing Catalina and then replace it once done, because I won't have a GPU I was looking at using iGPU could you please confirm which EFI I should be downloading and installing? I have read through and think the OpenCore one but would just like some conformation.

Thanks
