Bit cheeky calling it the pro though as it doesn’t even have the same VRMs, should really be called a gaming if you ask me.

My experience with the Asus is kinda complicated, because it only installs windows, but I will install macOS in it... you write my words :hysterical:...

ive installed macOS using the asus ITX board using clover just before Xmas actually. It was straight forward but I did it with a dsdt and some help from the Master MaLD0n. Using OpenCore would be even easier to do tbh.

I hope so, because I'll stay with OpenCore, it has a steep learning curve, but the end result is more like a real Mac in all things. Clover is more easy to grasp and the end result is not equal to the OpenCore.

Now you see no that is not true but I’m not going to get started on all of that.

Clover or OC are both very good and both have pros and cons. Clover has been around for many many years and will be here for many many more. OpenCore is in development and stil beta and until it’s release it will change with every version just like it has been so until it’s finished you just can’t compare.

no AMD Vs Intel battles about Clover Vs Oc are allowed here, I’m not having it buddy and I use OC as my daily driver and I’m still not having it. :hysterical:

I don't both are tools that give us ends users an Mac experience with regular pc's, but we as end users after experiencing the end result can and sometimes end liking one more than the other, that is my case. I don't enter in the war one is better than the other...

I love this. <3 I'd just swap the WiFi+BT chip and marry this board.

I have the same, aorus z390 i9 9900k without graphics card at the moment, only igpu.

My EFIs are not designed to work with just the igpu only.
You need make a few changes for it to work like patching the igpu using hackintool for starters.

if your using OpenCore then follow the vanilla guide on how to do it.

Sorry I can not be any more help then that.

Anyone have a clue why the computer would be restarting randomly, attached below is the error that popped up after it re-booted. (Just a heads up this is for OC)

@AudioGod Apologies in advanced for the silly question, but was there any particular reason you added in AirportBrcmFixup.kext to your lastest Clover EFI folder? I noticed it wasn't in there before when looking at your last EFI folder I have loaded up currently. I figure its to help the users with non-plug and play wifi cards but wasn't sure if there was an alternative reason.

AirportBrcmFixup.kext helps resolve issues related to sleep, at least with the Fenvi T-919. OOB working doesn't mean 100% super native support, so AirportBrcmFixup.kext helps fill in gaps for things that don't work quite well.

Looks related to power management (powerd) .. When you say random, what does this mean ?  using a specific app?  Using different apps?  Your doing nothing and the computer is idling then panic'ing?  going in or coming out of sleep?

Do you have things like turn hard disks off after a period of time on?

@WizeMan summed it up nicely but for me it stops my Apple Watch unlock from breaking and also I get a lot less phantom network wakes from sleep. Not everybody will need or want to use the kext but I reckon for 90% of hacks out there it helps so it’s better to have it in the EFI then not at all.

By all means remove it if you feel you don’t need it. :thumbsup_anim:

By he way my combo card is as native as they come and still it’s a blatant improvement to use it then to not.

In AudioGod screenshot he has over 6000 in single core and over 38,000 in multi... I switched between 1.1 and 19.1 and I still stay between 1,000 and 1,300.

Anyone has a suggestion on whats is going on? :(

your scores are correct,

my screenshot is from the older geekbench 4 and your results are from geekbench 5. That’s in line with where you should be score wise. :thumbsup_anim:

You are the man!

Thanks a lot for your work and all the other contributors. It was a simple guide, easy to understand with no problems at all. :thumbsup_anim:
