Hey guys,

I already installed catalina on my setup:

z390 aorus pro
i7 9700k

gigabyte rx580

32gb ram
nzxt kraken x42

and i have some troubles:

- After putting him to sleep, he wakes up instantly... I already started the procedure at the beginning of the topic, but I was unsuccessful.
- My disk with windows, it's gone. I can´t see on BIOS to boot

my hackintosh is almost 100%.

Someone help-me?
sorry my bad english :poster_oops:

Check the power settings in hackintool and correct them if they are wrong.

its very easy to do.

I have a question about this Windows installation:

I can disable other SATA ports in the BIOS, but I cannot disable the NVME/M.2 SSD on the motherboard?

I tried to install Windows multiple times but I couldn't get it to work, the problem was that the NVME/M.2 SSD was still connected.

Is there another way to disable the NVME/M.2 SSD besides removing it physically from the motherboard?

Thanks in advance!

Go into the bios and make sure you remove the macOS drive from the boot options so it doesn’t use the Clover or OpenCore bootpicker and that way your bypassing it and the windows install will make the windows destination drive work properly while installing.

Once you have totally finished your install go back into the bios and change the boot priority from the windows drive back to macOS and it should all be great and happy.

No that's right,

Do you have a wifi, bluetooth or combo card connected, if so what one is it?

Is your AIO Connected to the internal USB HUB? If so disconnect it and try again.

I have 4 disks in my PC
1 ssd 500gb - Mojave installed and working
1 ssd 500gb - Windows 10 installed and was working before update to f12d (i was using f9)
1 ssd 120gb - Using to test catalina
1 hd 2tb - To files.

on the bios boot, only 2 ssd with Mac OS and 1 hd with files appear.
My functional windows 10 ssd don't appear.

Yes, i have a combo card (wifi + BT) connected BCM943602CS.
About AIO, yes! connected into internal USB, but in my mojave sleep works very well with combo card and AIO.

Add airportfixup.kext to your kext folder reboot and try sleep again.

https://github.com/acidanthera/AirportBrcmFixup/releases

also using hackintool rebuild your cache and repair your permissions.

AudioGod,

I have the same issue. I disconnected the AIO, however the Mac don’t sleep correctly. I have the Fenvi T919 with a connection in usb internal reader. This fix will work for me?

Thanks

One more thing, my friend: searching in syslog o found: Wake Reason: XHC

is the internal usb port the cause?

I will try the kext!

thank you

It could be a case of you needing to rebuild your cache and repair your permissions.

you can do this in hackintool and check your power while your in their.

and yes use the kext aswell.

Hi AudioGod,

Unfortunately, partial success. After putting on sleep, he sleep well, but to do this I need to unplug the usb cable from my psu to usb internal reader. This cable is for the corsairlink software on windows then I need to use it to monitoring my psu power.  Is it possible to disable the HS11's F_USB1 without compromising the F919's bluetooth connection that is connected to the HS11's F_USB2?

I did a clean install of Windows 10 on a different SSD.

You can install this just like the standard procedure of installing W10, but make sure only this SSD (during installation) is connected to the motherboard!

You can disable other HDD's or SSD's in the BIOS.

When install is finished just connect the Hackintosch SSD/NVME SSD again and boot, you can choose Windows or macOS.

As far as I know, there is no way to disable the M.2 slots in BIOS. I removed the MacOS M.2 before installing Win10. Here are a few tips based on my experience (my mistakes):

1. Either disable or remove all SATA devices besides the SSD that will be your Win10 installation. The first time I tried to install, I left them plugged in and the installer gave me an error.

2. To ensure the Win10 EFI goes on the same drive as Win10 OS, remove the M.2 MacOS drive. However, the installation will still work with the M.2 MacOS still plugged in, BUT you might end up with Win10 EFI on your Mac drive. Win10 can boot with the EFI on a different drive, but you'll be dependent on the MacOS drive being there. You tell which drive has your Win10 EFI in BIOS. The drive will have "Windows Boot Manager".

*** I have a guess about why this happens: I wonder if the installer is smart enough to figure out which drive is 1st in the boot order, so if your Mac drive is 1st, it will install the Win10 EFI on that. However, I didn't have the patience to test this, so I removed the drive to be sure.

3. After you get everything back together, go into BIOS and ensure Mac installation is first in the boot order. Otherwise you will bypass Clover and boot into Windows.

Good Luck!

Now you see if you said that from the beginning I would of told you to remove it.

corsair link borks macOS and macOS does not understand it and has no use for it and the only time that connection has any importance is when your in windows with the icue software open otherwise it does nothing so go ahead and disconnect the psu usb header and sleep will work fine and just reconnect it for those extremely rare and pointless moments that you may need to use it.

I have overclocked more systems then I have had hot dinners and I have never in my life needed to monitor a psu via the Corsair link software and if I did need to do something like that because im using liquid nitrogen then you use a scope at the mains and not Corsair link. It’s nothing more then a toy tbh and no more useful then just using HWINFO.

Also HS11 is a hub not two separate connections so no you can not disable one and keep the other enabled I’m afraid. There used to be a patch available to resolve it with a Corsair AIO but that stopped working with the release of Catalina.

Unfortunately, I still have my sleep issues. I even bought a genuine 653-0020, BCM94360CS2 card but no change. As long my PCIEX card is unplugged from MoBo internal USB sleep works just fine.

At this point, one very last thing I can suspect is faulty PCIe card? But again, card connected to mobo without wifi card doesn't wake my computer.

Try inserting the card on the most bottom PCIEX4 slot. This is where I have it. Also, disable proximitywake .

Hi @AudioGod and guys,
can you help me for this strange glitch that I have? I tried with different EFi, with Clover and OpenCore, different config, booted with RX580 and Intel UHD 630, tried Catalina and also Mojave, but the glitch is always here.
It doesn't always, so if you try, try with as in my video, with espanded folders ecc..
Thank you

I think that something is wrong with hardware acceleration. If you are using the iMac19,1 SMBIOS EFIs make sure that Internal Graphics is enabled on your UEFI BIOS settings.

Yes I'm using iMac19,1 and Internal Graphics is enabled with this settings how in first page:

Internal Display Output -> PCIe 1 Slot

Internal Graphics -> Enabled

DVMT Pre-Allocated -> 64M

DVMT Total GFX0-Allocated -> 256M

Aperture Size -> 256MB

Ok, I digged deeper today, and another user has similar problems with gigabyte MoBo - and he has found the solution - card HB1200 / 1200M

I have ordered one and this will arrive by Saurday - I will come back here and  leave the update.
