Hummm no, the Focusrite Clarett is both USB3.0 and USB-C (depending of the cable you use). Maybe for the Master keyboard, yes. But why I can use the front USB3.0 port with the Clarett and not the port on the backpanel ? plus, the clarett works (the sound is audible, but it can't be visible on the software attached wit the hardware). Can I maybe try the alt SSDT that you've shared ? Device should work if you enable HSxx on some of the USB3 ports on backplate. You could also disable HSxx on front of case and enable them on backplate. There are some spare ports to play with, and keep to usb 15 port limit. looks like your external usb device requires all pins on usb device. glasgood
@AntoineWill Have attached an SSDT with both USB2 & USB3 enabled on HS07/SS07 on the back plate. Test out that port using SSDT attached. If depending on your EFI folder, you will have to temporarily remove USBPorts.kext and use USBInjectAll.kext and place SSDT inside Clover / ACPI / patched. If device works through HS07/SS07 and if you need more ports then just create an SSDT using guide. Sorry, total USB noob here A single USB3 port that you define as SSxx will be recognised as USB3, or a single USB3 port defined as HSxx will be recognised only as USB2. A single USB3 port defined as both HSxx and SSxx will work as USB3 and USB2 Example, xx is the port number : USB 3 Port can be defined in SSDT as HSxx and it would only be able to work with USB 2 devices. USB 3 Port can be defined in SSDT as SSxx and it would only be able to work with USB 3 devices. or USB 3 Port can be defined in SSDT as both HSxx and SSxx and that USB3 port would work with both USB2 and USB3 devices. USB 2 Port is defined only HSxx USB2 header on motherboard is defined as Internal USB3 header on motherboard that connects to front case USB ports is defined as USB3 USB2 is defined as USB2 USB3 is defined as USB3 Inside Hackintool, there is also a guide that explains how to create SSDT or USBPorts.kext. ==>>USB GUIDE Best! You will have to mount the EFI partition on your Windows Drive and remove 'bootmgfw.efi" from inside EFI/Microsoft/Boot So To mount disk, open terminal: diskutil list Then mount windows EFI partition, example on my system Windows is installed on disk2 and EFI partition is on partition disk2s2 So To mount disk2s2 sudo diskutil mount disk2s2 In image below, make a backup copy of bootmgfw.efi and name it bootmgfw-orig.efi , delete bootmgfw.efi and the extra Windows boot option is removed. I proceeded to use this fix and while it did fix the GPU from not working, when i put it to sleep and tried to wake it brought the issue back in which is freezes. Just when i thought that my system was running fine lol. I went ahead and changed my SMBIOS to 18.3 to see if that would fix it as well but no luck.
