Hi Taruga, I've used your solution on my Laptop and it worked with no problem for ALC883, I tried to do the same on my deskop (MSI P965) using iAtkos v5 and 9.5.0 fassl kernel.

Sound works out of the box (before using the patcher), but when I apply the patcher with any dump (I even generated one using an Ubuntu Live CD) System Prefs shows all the INs and OUTs but there is no sound AT ALL, I tried restoring the Kexts, but I finally reinstalled everything.

Do you know what would be the problem in here?

Thanks !

Laptop Internal speaker is not working.

(Lenovo V100, ALC883)

Hi,

I have installed Kalyway 10.5.6 to my Lenovo V100.

Everything works fine except Audio and memory card reader.

Actually, before I patch audio, only internal speaker worked. Neither mic nor headphone jack has worked.

After I installed ALC883 codec downloaded from this site and the one I got fromm Ubuntu 8.10 live CD, only jack output/inputs are working. The internal speakers is disabled. I installed HDA enabler, soundsource applit and tried switch the output, but none of them are working. I can select the output as "internal speaker", but no sound from the speakers. Can anyone help?

I have attached the the scipt I installed.

Hi, I would really like to get my surround sound working. I have a Geforce 7050m-m motherboard. That has a Realtek ALC662 audio card on it.

I have tried the different ALC662 text files running around and no go.

So I wanted to find out if any one has instructions on how I can create my own.

XxX 10.5.5 wPPF3

Running on IBM/Lenovo M52 (Model 8215-Y3Q)

Sound Device: Audio Device [0403]: Intel Corp 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (8086:27d8)

Audio Chipset: ADI1981HD

all works out of the box except the sound.. I've patched, modified kexts and followed all of the suggestions that I can find which has led me to here.

Ran Linux eLive Live CD and generated my codec dump, but plugging it into AppleHDA Patcher 1.20, shows "The codec is not working at the moment. It needs more research." So... I've attached my codec dump, in the hopes that a patch for these M52s will be included in a later revision.

Thanks for all your work on this!

SOLUTION FOR 14F1 5045 CONEXANT AUDIO~!!!!

i dont know why the people that had fix this long time ago didint make a post with it!!! but anyways!!!

YOU HAVE TO BUY A usb SOUND APDATOR!!! NOT A USB SOUND CARD! JUST AN ADAPTOR USB TO JACK! THE CONNECT IT AND MAKE SURE THAT IN SYSTEM/AUDIO/OUTPUT YOU SELECT IT!!! THEN U HAVE TO CONNECT THE JACK OF THE SPEAKERS TO THE ADAPTOR AND THATS IT!!!

)!!!!!!

NOW I HAVE A FULLY 100% MAC WORKING IN MY LAPTOP LENOVO R61 FOR 0 EUROS!

I have the same card with the same problem.

On my system Everest identifies it as a Cx20549. Have you had any luck with this?
