Are you sure that your High Sierra 10.13.6 is the LATEST Version - (17G10021)??? IF NOT, please Update your OS to the Latest Security Update and make sure you are on (17G10021). This is the First Step to take to make sure the NVIDIA Web AND CUDA Drivers are working for you on this Video Card. 387.10.10.10.40.133 IS MEANT ONLY for (17G10021). IF your System is NOT on (17G10021), this would explain why you are getting this Error. In addition, as mentioned before, the 750m is a Card that 'typically' gets the Driver assigned and attached by MacOS and the Third Party NVIDIA Web Driver is NOT necessarily needed for this Card. HOWEVER; since you have already Installed said Web Driver and proper CUDA Driver, it's best to check that you ARE on (17G10021) for these Drivers to work properly with the 750m. Looks like you're SOL if you're expecting working NVIDIA Web drivers for build 17G66. Let me guess, you updated to macOS 10.13.6 from the MAS? Because I did too since I'm in the process of setting up macOS High Sierra using a Ryzen 3700X w/ a GTX 1080TI. How idiotic was it for Apple to leave us w/ the one build version where NVIDIA's Web drivers aren't compatible to install on it... beats me. Based on users reporting immediate issues upon installing the driver, NVIDIA pulled the plug quick and removed it from their servers (you can see here) so there's no way to access them nor have I had any luck finding them online. You can read about it here and here. Only recourse I can think of would be to update to macOS High Sierra Security Update 2019-002 10.13.6. In this case, the ".133" Driver IS ONLY MEANT for OS Version - (17G10021.) (As stated by @Hervé, and myself.) yoyo Posted January 22, 2020 Share Posted January 22, 2020 Well, in my case I couldn't installed it because I didn't updated to the last 10.13.6 security update (the package just failed to installed). After updated IT works fine, as supposed. So maybe the problem for those people is not related to having installed the driver onto an older version. I guess the problem for them is related to CUDA driver and software version, or just not selecting the driver to use on preference panel... In my case I can confirm that ".133" driver works together with the CUDA ".481.163" driver on a Macbook Pro late 2013 with a Nvidia 750M, running Mac OS X 10.13.6 (17G10021). I did upgrade and down load the latest Security Drive for my system and I could install the latest NVIDIA driver ...134 but after installed and re-start my computer I go to AE CC2018 and my GPU still not supported.. Installing the CUDA Driver, (418.163), is one thing, BUT the Web Drivers are truly designed for Maxwell and Pascal Cards ONLY. Your Card is no later than Kepler and is NORMALLY controlled by Driver 355.11.10.10.40.102 BUILT IN to MacOS. IF it were my System, at this point I'd HIGHLY consider Uninstalling the Web Drivers. kittonian Posted February 6, 2020 Share Posted February 6, 2020 The past two web driver revisions (133 and 134) have slowed my work process to a halt. I am using ArchiCAD 23 and Twinmotion 2019 and this has become unusable due to the constant lag and redraw rates. Prior to that everything was nice and speedy. I also just updated my config to power the GTX 780 with a Powerlink connected to two SATA ports on the logic board into one of the 8-pin connectors, and a mini 6-pin to 8-pin cable for the other using the normal video card power connector on the logic board.
