more info needed, what version of clover are you using, what is your config.plist.

Hello, thanks for answering!

You're perfectly right, missing a lot of informations, sorry.

Computer: HP Elitedesk 800 G1 DM i7, latest bios L04 02.33 2019 and latest ME 9.1.45.3000

Bios reset to default, nothing set or unset.

I've used Clover EFI v2.4k r4920 to install Mojave

Then, I've added some kext and modified config.plist (attached) to tweak it as described here: http://donsthinktank.blogspot.com/2017/10/hackintosh-hp-800-g1-tutorial-version.html

Here is the list of my kext:

  • AppleHDADisabler.kext
  • CodecCommander.kext
  • FakeSMC.kext FakeSMC_CPUSensors.kext
  • FakeSMC_LPCSensors.kext
  • Lilu.kext
  • USBInjectAll.kext WhateverGreen.kext
  • AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext
  • FakeSMC 2.kext
  • FakeSMC_ACPISensors.kext
  • FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext
  • IntelMausiEthernet.kext
  • RealtekRTL8111.kext
  • VoodooHDA.kext

Any advices please?

Here is a screenshot of the boot sequence:

Waoh thanks, beautiful gui I've never seen!

I'm getting nothing but my Windows already on disk and icons are appearing and disappearing on the bottom...

I've just replaced the Clover Folder on the EFI partition using yours

Thanks, I've seen this and already changed to "LastBootedVolume"

Really sorry, tried the latest and still no MacOS boot option :-(

interesting, what is your drive formatted ?

not being detected by the loader, mine is GUID with APFS

My USB stick is GUID Partition Map with MacOS X Extended (Journaled)

Before swapping the Clover dir with yours, I had the option

My BOOT folder contains BOOTX64.efi

Maybe I need to change the default loader in boot section to this value?

I think I need to restart the installation from scratch :-)

yes, you had a missing from drivers/UEFI.. use your old one but make sure you have files in driver/UEFI that I have. I think its OsxAptioFixDrv.efi that you need, without it you get the +++++++++++++++++++++ hang

So I started a fresh USB Format

I've done the Mojave's createmedia

I've used Clover 5058

I've added your wonderful Theme :-)

I've added all your kext to Other

I've edited the plist to set the same values as yours

I've removed the drivers/UEFI files which causes OSName Hang: (UEFI.old directory below)

Now I can see the option to boot Mojave

Now it runs after start OSName

But stucks with ++++++++++++++

I've the OsxAptioFixDrv.efi598914500_ScreenShot2019-09-07at22_06_18.png.8e7e127139e0fd860cc4da47de8f036b.png

I don't know what to do, verify or follow.

I've tried to use your UEFI driver directory but no Mojave option in Clover

I think there is an efi required but which one :(

config.plist

@Donw35 Does your sleep work over long periods? I.e overnight?

Mine works OK for short periods, but overnight it sometimes hangs.

@nowhere44 Try installing with Olarila, you can go on their website to download the latest image, or its on piratebay. It worked for me on another unit I set up 2 days ago.

Hello, still no luck

Boot and ++++++++ then reboot

What other devices are attached when you boot? Try and slim everything down so its just 1 hard drive + keyboard and mouse

Also, you're not using VGA to connect your monitor are you?

Hum yes it's connected with an old ugly blue VGA cable!

There's your problem - VGA doesnt work.

Get another connector and use that, I guarantee it will work. I'm using displayport to hdmi converter and it works fine on my setup.

Thanks for pointing that to me

I've changed to connect using displayport but... no luck :-(

Still the same :-(

I've nowhere in the bios to disable any vga adapter

Whilst in BIOS.

Go to Storage tab > Storage Options:
SATA emulation: AHCI
Removable Media Boot: Enabled

Go to Security tab:
Network Boot: Disabled
Secure Boot Configuration:
Legacy Support: Disabled
Secure Boot: Disabled
Fast Boot - Enabled

Then save the BIOS, and try booting off the Olarila USB, let me know.

Hello, I had all the same but "legacy support". So I disabled it as you told me

Still ++++ then reboot :-(

What are you booting to?

At this time, I've tried an olarila distribution of Mojave

I can try to set another USB stick with the std setup (createmedia then Clover)

well, for me I only see ++++++++++++++++ when KernelPM is missing from config.plist and OsxAptioFixDrv.efi is missing from /drivers/UEFI

soon man, didn't think for you to check VGA, Mac's don't have VGA so you will need to use the display port.

question, us this a tower, Small desktop ?
