Hey fellas, I've got the question to the Kernel devs.

Did you guys see any references to Core max in the kernel?

I've been trying to figure out how to bypass the 64 core limitation. I'm pretty sure future Naples users might be interested in this as well.

No, it's more complicated than that, it's Clover that generates the nvram file, Bronya is the author of the Clover startup on ryzen, then Clover works like on Intel CPU uefi, a rebuild system cache (alias Kernelcache / coreservice / boot.efi) is required for Clover to work

Thanks and we must wait for Bronya's solution for Clover again !

Great Bronya, you are our hero !

Thanks a million again and waiting for your Clover fix boot for Ryzen hackintosh eagerly !

Also found this new Boot file works better for Ryzen hackintosh than FX-6300 hackintosh.

For FX-6300 I need boot with argument of "-f ", otherwise it always hang around "Kexts Pacher Start"

But no such an issue for Ryzen 1700X hackintosh.

In contrast original Enoch r.2883 works perfectly for my FX-6300 hackintosh, but unable to boot Ryzen 1700X hackintosh in my test.

[Edit]

In order to test its compatibility I found that Intel hackintosh will get instant reboot after its boot menu selected.

For 10.12.x it asked for /System/Library/Kernels/mach_kernel to boot instead of /System/Library/kernels/kernel in normal condition.

So I think there was a bug in this new boot file, or it can not be used for Intel hackintosh.

It's been a long time since I built a hackintosh but I have suddenly developed a need to have one. I have read this whole forum 3 times at least, I saw other people were getting an error towards the beginning of the post and seemed to have passed that problem. I have created a USB installer using transmac, everytime I try and boot from it I get to b1f: init and then a reboot.

cpu: r7 1700

mobo: asus prime x370

gpu: 1050 ti

memory:corsair dominator

hdd: 500gb ssd

Thanks for the help, I'll throw money at whoever helps past this lol

Good luck and thanks you for your hard work on clover / boot / kernel :)

btw tryed the  boot_tscRDTSC_all_ryzen along with kernel_auto and timer seems to be way too fast (cinebench 315)

I have tested with this new Boot and kernel dated on 2017-05-09 at 10.12.5 & 10.12.6 without the issue you mentioned here.

Both Cinebench R15 performance and Timer were normal in my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh O.C. to 3800 M hz.

Thanks for your info posted here.

Do you mean to make Clover EFI bootable in Ryzen hackintosh we need the following two key components:

1. So many (totally 16) xxxx-64.efi in driver64UEFI

2. Correct boot arguments in config.plist as yours

Is there specific version of Clover or patched Boot for this ?

this is boot efi driver of my old i7 3930k ( 2016) with CLOVERX64.efi and BOOTX64.efi Bronya. (this is driver uefi 2016) the drivers 2017 no works

the config.plist is edit for create usb installer Clover for Ryzen

Thanks and can you or Bronya share patched CLOVERX64.efi and BOOTX64.efi for my testing for Ryzen 1700X hackintosh ?
