And than with the Titan.kext to have OpenGL 3D support? What I have to do to install them? Please a simmple Nobb tutorial for this installation. The clock issue is still there but the stuttering sound is gone. And which kext is that, may I ask ? spanakorizo Posted November 4, 2006 Share Posted November 4, 2006 do i need to install just the mach_kernel and the AppleSMBIOS.kext from mifki's 8.8.1 intel zip and that all? or do i have to install the 300mb combo update?? guys the update is not possible in AMDs ..no way! after i install (i dont press restart) and i try to replace the mach_kernel and AppleSMBIOS the gui becomes unfunctonial everything disapears and i can only see the cursor moving slowly and the backround (no gui/windows) ofcourse after restart it doesnt boot nowhere cause the apple combo update has been installed on hackintosh so can i just install this AMD kernel and AppleSMBIOS ,repair permissions,delete kextcache and reboot??? i need to test the titaaaaaaan i must reinstalled osx so many times those days!! innerlogic Posted November 4, 2006 Share Posted November 4, 2006 I have it running, but sound is sketchy at best (most programs don't even have sound ALA Quake 4), and video is out of sync, as well as clock lag. Also, I'm not sure the fsb option is working at all. You might want to join IRC and join the beta test also, it's free and open for everyone in the #kernel channel. Btw., good news guys! Now the kernel runs auto detection, so no more further need for diffrent kernels! I also did minor corrections to the HPET emualtion to fix the wrong clock issue, this is still in testing.
