Hi nmano, sorry for a bit late response.

 

Almost everything on the DSDT worked perfectly just a few bugs.

 

Under SATA - it says generic AHCI controller while in PCIE details it says Intel 99 Series Chipset

 

Under PCIE and Graphics one of the GPU with HDAU it shows the slot as ethernet.

 

 

Also is there 4 _SB_SCK0-_SB_SCK4 in the DSDT do you think it some how affects the hyper threading crash?

It is, it's more on the pro side then gaming.

 

Attaching the CPU power management screens, sorry for some odd reason I thought I zip them.

 

Ram is correct way, memtest, ubuntu and windows ran on 72h full load test and passed with flying colors, ESXI doesn't have the problem on it ether.

 

According to Slice there is an issue on getting the SPD info from the second controller and he's been trying to figure out the fix for a while.

 

On the Cpu he said something a long the line that ACPI might not be passed on correctly.

 

Tried the file with different FakeCPUIDs same result, panic with hyper threading and same issues on the installed system without.

Your bios is clearly different from "gaming and consumer " boards as I remembered

You miss to show CPU Advanced PM tuning

IF you find Enhanced intel speedstep technology you can try to disable it

In USB section many X99 guides advice to enable also EHCI hand off and set IntelXhci from auto to enabled

Then , In AI Overclock Tuner try to change to manual and see with parameters you could modify

 

You say also that you see only 32 Gb of 128 Gb

It seems that only one cpu is feed, are you sure you have ram in correct way? you should see 64 gb without any clover injection

But maybe all of these advice are not relevant for your problem if you have on this rig a solid microsoft windows working setup

-Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X99-SLI

-Cpu: i7 5820k

-Graphics: Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 

 

I have an issue what i could not find anywhere with nvda_drv=1 is not loading the web driver, but if go to clover options, graphic injector i have "use nvidia web driver". if i tick the box it will load properly. it's annoying that i have to do this every time i restart.

 

Also can't get working sound. I got to one point that i can see that volume control is active but no sound at all.

Also can't get working sound. I got to one point that i can see that volume control is active but no sound at all.

When I'll manage to get the system functioning or at least get the terminal working, I'll play with it to see if I can get the lower p-states activated.

 

I'd say play with frequency vectors and Pikes patches, see what works.

P-State problems with X99 seems to be a general Bios problem.

 

With disabled EIST the same problems are noticed with Windows. CPU jumping from min. to max. multiplier when CPU is in idle mode.

 

This can only fixed with a new/fixed BIOS and correct C- and P-States.

 

Check another big forum, ASUS Rampage Extrem V, El Capitan guide... Other motherboard, but P-States problem.
