Everything works for me except for Opera Developer web browser(VPN browsing no longer works) It was the same with public beta5. It worked with the older beta's and with Maverick. Browser only works with VPN turned off.

Yeap bro i have the black bar on left.

and i have another prob,can't open display preferences.

Im worry that this issue is not fixed in official sierra in the furture.

 

Macbook 2016 has hd515. If macbook has blackbar, we dont need to fix. But macbook hasnt this issue, we need to expect apple to fix or find other method.

 

I hope apple fix this issue.

This could be because since the release notes from DP5 say the following:

VPN connections using PPTP are insecure and no longer supported in macOS 10.12

No problem on my rig. Opera with VPN works perfect. Asus H97M-E/CSM. HD4600. The only issues I have with DP7 is some keygens won't still run.

XCPM-worked.

Switching Virtual location fixed it. Odd no such issue in Maverick, also I tried switching location before and it didn't work. It maybe that Opera updated the browser which fixed it don't know. Glad it now works.

Found this issue I haven't seen anyone having before; started with DP6 but now with DP7 it's much worse;

 

Sometimes randomly, I don't exactly know why as the log doesn't really show anything that could be related to it, sierra resets itself to the login screen.

If you have a movie playing or music list in VLC that continues behind the login screen!

What I think I see in the logs is some memory issues, but keeps complaining about cache issues;

This gets spammed in my log, like every few sec... haven't been able to pinpoint it to a cause yet but this is more than likely the cause of the reset.
Anyone got any idea what this is? clearing caches obviously doesn't solve this.
It's just to bad of an else really nice hack.

Anybody have a  ALC1150? I have GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK motherboard and I can't seem to have the audio working. using AppleALC.kext does not seem to work. using Clover 3716.

 

Try Rehabman's codec commander kext, not sure if this will work in Sierra?  I did not have audio either until I installed that kext.  Read up on what its purpose is.

This is what I used, developed by Toleda. It worked with my Asus Z97 Deluxe board with ALC 1150. Make sure your EFI partition is mounted and simply run the script, select the appropriate options and reboot.

I ran that to but audio still did not show up in System Preferences until after I installed Codec Commander.  That is for the Asus Skylake board I have now.  Maximus VIII Hero Alpha.

I actually did this before. Internal Speaker show on System Preferences > Sound but still no sound. Was the injected layout 1?

 I used layout 1 after I installed codec commander on my Skylake MB I had all the Audio ports and Audio (sound).

MacOS Sierra PB7 now on App Store  :yes:

Everything went fine after update. As always, just edited applegraphicscontrol and wifi​ kext.

It may be just my impression, but I even think that with this update (PB7) my x99 system became more stable :thumbsup_anim:​

I's not just the bar but also full screen youtube video's and other overlays.

Can't and possibly won't be solved as apple isn't using the 530 in their lineup and probably never will.

So use a dedicated gfx card or when you use it on a laptop you're out of luck.

El capitan is no problen hd 520 laptop.

Have just black bar in menu bar in sierra. Hmm.. Hope fix this issue soon or furture sierra

I know, I'm using the 530.

Apple started working on 530 drivers for El Cap with the idea of releasing skylake macs with the 530... but for some reason they haven't.

They most probably will go to kabylake straight away.

So expect no fix for these problems, there really is little hope.
