  1. [pre-releases] macOS Sierra

Switching Virtual location fixed it. Odd no such issue in Maverick, also I tried switching location before and it didn't work. It maybe that Opera updated the browser which fixed it don't know. Glad it now works.
  2. [pre-releases] macOS Sierra

Everything works for me except for Opera Developer web browser(VPN browsing no longer works) It was the same with public beta5. It worked with the older beta's and with Maverick. Browser only works with VPN turned off.
  3. Apple unveils "macOS Sierra"

I found a fix for my Black Screen at startup of USB installer drive. In Clover I had to make a small change. I'm using Legacymode/ Bootloader/ check"Install boot Oaf in MBR" I've never needed to do this before (El Capitan & Sierra DV 1) It worked! (I found this hint on the website that can not be mentioned). I'm happily using Chris1111's Clover v2.3K-r3602-special Edition.-v3 for install. Everything works except for Siri can't hear my USB Mic. I used the post installer in Chris1111's Clover OSX El Capitan v5 to install /fix my audio and Ethernet drivers. Thanks Chris1111 !
  4. Apple unveils "macOS Sierra"

When you say your stuck on a black screen. Do you mean after the install or right away when starting up from the USB drive? I have the latter with Public beta. DV1 works great on my machine.
  5. [pre-releases] macOS Sierra

Thanks that would be it !
  6. [pre-releases] macOS Sierra

Signed up for the public beta as I did for El Capitan all seemed well. The app store gives me a message that this version of 10.12 can't be used on my machine bummer. I download another app just to make sure the app store was working with my machine. Tried from within Maverick and El Capitan. Anyone have any ideas?
  7. Working WiFi in Sierra?

Sorry I wasn't clear enough. Your location for the kext was what I was trying to relate. I had no luck finding the numbers to replace in this location using Text edit. My card is the: Broadcom Cor. BCM4318 Airforce One 54G. It has worked great up to and including El Capitan. thanks for any help I was trying to patch the kext directly. I now see it needs to be done with Clover configurator. thanks I tried making the patch in Configurator. Got the info typed in where I thought it should go. I couldn't figure out what to do next ??
  8. Working WiFi in Sierra?

Thanks, I've tried to find the right place for the patch can't find this on my machine: Kext: AirPortBrcm4360 Find: 81F952AA00007529 Replace: 81F952AA00006690 looked through the KEXT after making all files show and package contents etc. Am I missing something or ? thanks
  9. Mouse and Keyboard not working

I had the same issue with my mouse and keyboard. The fix was easy for mine. In the Clover boot screen where it shows the hard drives to boot from click on the arrow keys until you get to the "option" choice (my keyboard worked on this screen but not later) use enter key to open then "DSDT Fix Mask" using the arrow key choose "USB Fix" by using "Enter" key go back by using return at bottom of list. Choose Sierra boot drive and away you go. Hope this helps.
  10. I'm tempted to buy the TP-Link TL-WDN4800 WiFi card. It's been a favorite of hack users for sometime now. Wondering if it works in Sierra. It has worked in all OS's so far. My third party Airport PCIE card which has worked great for a long time in OSX refuses to work in Sierra. It took a lot of work to even see the card in Sierra. It uses the Broadcom BCM 4318 chip don't know which Apple kext supports it inside IO80211Family.kext. I'm about to give up on it and buy the above card if it works. I suppose my card could work with future updates of Sierra but no idea. thanks for any help.
  11. Chameleon OS X El Capitan

I'm using the latest download for Chameleon OSX ElCapitan GM. Machine refuses to boot with the USB drive once it's formatted and installed on. I have to unplug the USB drive to boot machine. So can not do install on SSD. Tried two different 16GB USB drives. I was able to get ELCapGM running on this machine using your Clover install using the same USB drive . So it worked a few days ago for that. Got everything working in that install except for USB 3. Just wanted to try Chameleon install as I'm used to using it. Also hoped to get USB3 working. thanks
  12. Chameleon OS X El Capitan

Anyone getting this to work? I've tried two different 16GB USB drives and neither USB drive will boot once the install is done. Just me and my machine or an issue? thanks and thanks Chris for all your hard work.
  13. [GUIDE] USB Fix El Capitan 10.11

Does this card do USB3? What card is it? Anyone else know of PCI-E cards that work? It's early days but I'm about to give up for now at least. thanks
  14. Help with my 10.11 GM installation ;P
