wolfie81 Posted June 9, 2016 Share Posted June 9, 2016 Hi Chris, I tried your program on my custom built mac and I cannot create a usb installer. It does not allow me to select the usb to create. However, if I try to use this program on my Apple Macbook Pro, I have no problems creating a usb installer. I am using El Capitan 10.11.3 on both computers. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance. Ive also got this issue where my USB is named 'USB' or I labelled it as anything else and without spaces. I am using a legit mac to create this. Phil511 Posted July 6, 2016 Share Posted July 6, 2016 Hi Chris, I have to reinstall El Capitan because of very poor graphic performance. When I try it on MacPro 5.1 SMBIOS, it panic and never recover. When trying to I install El Capitan again, I was not able to reinstall at all as it panic. zbarsky Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 Thanks for this USB installer - just simply took out my old Mac OS X HD from my old EP35 DS3L Hackintosh and swapped it into my new i7 Gigagbyte Z-170-HD3P rig - it booted up with no problems. I've now made a 17,1 iMac system configuration with clover configurator in preparation for Sierra's arrival.
