Thanks, but this new kernel caused Athlon 64 x2 6000+ in ASUS M4A78 PLUS MB instant reboot at both 10.11.2 & 10.11.3

Yep. Same here on Athlon 64 x2 4800+ and 5600+ :(.

kernel should be compatible for Phenom II X6, I have not tested it. I build another one for x2/x4

usb = fixed

mouse = fixed

but now it stuck at 16 % remaining to install  :wallbash:

check with these USB drivers

here for x2/x4

thanks, I'll try.

Info:

During installation open the installation log, which you can see where and when the installation breaks then you can eliminate the cause.

Opcode error :

But that's super strange : OS X actually boots and I can reach desktop eventually :wacko:… until it crashes and halts after a while :o !

Anyway, mouse wasn't working at all.

BTW, I still have the Wireless Network Utility.app crashing whatever the kernel I use…

does not look good, :lol:  sorry ..I try to fix

please test and report

Unfortunately both 10.11.2_anv and 10.11.2_old kernels got instant reboot in Athlon 64 x2 6000+ CPU in ASUS M4A78 PLUS MB and Phenom x4 9850 in ASUS M3A MB again with or wothout -noblacklist !

Try this 10.11.2 kernel for AMD:

:)

good works !!

no problem symbol , USB ootb on MSI AM1i , problem fsb ( flag fsb=100 Mhz) , but always bug graphics (uefi MB) , HD 4670 works but lag video , HD 6850 screen yellow , HD 7950  black screen .

The kernel works on gils83's Athlon but not on yours.  Could you please post the result of "sysctl machdep"?

@Ipukraine & jsl:

Does anyone of my previous kernel for Yos or Capo ever work on your Athlons?

All kernels in this thread except your last one work on my config

Your previous 10110R3 kernel worked perfectly in both Athlon 64 x2 6000+ CPU and Phenom x4 9850 CPU at 10.11.2 and 10.11.3 Beta 1.

Kernel79_AMD, Bronya's RC1, and your 10110R2 are also working, but not so perfectly for mine.

That one (10110R3) is the best up to now in my two AMD Hackintosh.

Thanks again !

OK, thanks.  I'll take a look and see where I've "messed up".
