But with the attached DSDT.SavageAUS i boot verbose and get acpi errors and prohibited sign. The DSDT i posted above boots just fine and i have HDMI audio without doing anything at all (except web drivers). Cyberdevs Posted May 7, 2017 Author Share Posted May 7, 2017 Does it have the same ACPI errors? and if I recall correctly MaLd0n said you don't need any more ssdt and acpi patches with these DSDT files so I removed all clover patches and ssdt tables, I get a lot of ACPI errors in verbose but it's ok system functions normal. Try removing all the patches and ssdt tables and see if you still see the stop sign. If you do boot in verbose and post the picture to se what's wrong. Give it a try. Although each system needs it's own DSDT because of the different components inside it. we might have the same hardware but it doesn't make them identical. anyway give it a try and let's hope it works. With a DSDT created by MaLd0n previously i can boot and run fine and with the one in your EFI folder i can boot and run fine too. Just not the one created for me recently. 1. Original created for me by MaLd0n DSDT.aml.zip works 2. New DSDT by MaLd0n for my rig DSDT.SavageAUS.zip wont boot 3. MaLd0n's Z170X G5 DSDT DSDT.aml.zip works DSDT's 1 & 3 work but they are different. And as i dont know the source or differences between the two ill stick with number 1.
