altares
Anyone knows how to get past that incompatibility thing in Nvidia prefpane to force the alternate drivers instead? My Plists are all pointing to 14D136 now, so it shouldn't be any incompatibility right now.. My boot flags are: nvda_drv=1 kext-dev-mode=1 Just a hunch but, any of you who succeeded using the new drivers along with the update have Maxwell cards? Edit: Apparently blankmac has one, so this has nothing to do with it.
Astharia
Thanks for the new link lukzam. My nvidia panel said no update , so i use your link et it work fine. The tweak in plist worked but my system was slow and couldn't make the audio working ( usb headphone and internal soundcard).

FusselFux
Nope, i reinstalled the driver in clean mode but doesn't work yet. very easy to fix it: Copy "NVDAStartup.kext" to desktop. Open the content of the kext. Open the Info.plist file. Search for <key>NVDARequiredOS</key> <string>14D131</string> Edit it to: <key>NVDARequiredOS</key> <string>14D</string> Save the info.plist Install the kext with Kext Utility Restart Now it's working again

The nvidia panel says tha t this system is not compatible even though it is using the exact same 4d136 as the OS.. This is beyond ridiculous. We need a way to force the alternate driver to load I think.

I too would like to know this, in fact exactly what version of Acronis are you using? I have a rather old version that unfortunately doesnt recognise HFS filesystems but 'apparently' if i do a sector-sector backup it should be fine.
