@ DMP87 - can you attach your EFI folder? You would need to mount the EFI partition first. You can do this by using the Mounter tool which is under Apps in the package.

Edit: Do you have something connected to either on the HDMI or DP port?

The only thing i have connected is the ethernet and power.

Does it matter that i bought the Broadcom bcm943225HMB and not the AW NB290 bcm943225HMB? figured they were both the same since they had the same part number and it was stated as such in this thread.

attached is EFI folder.

thanks for the reply.

@DMP87 - Looks like you have both the intel wifi card and BCM card installed. I would suggest you to only put the BCM card inplace of the intel wifi card. If you want both then it would be better if you put the BCM card in the Wifi slot and not the WWAN slot.

As TimeWalker suggested, try setting duallink to 0. If that does not work then you can try setting the product name to Macbook 8,1 instead of 8,3.

First try replacing your config.plist with the attached duallink. If that doesn't work try replace it with the duallink and macbook. Put it under EFI > Clover

config duallink 0.plist.zip

config duallink and macbook81.plist.zip

Hmm .. maybe having Intel-only card is the problem. Try setting DualLink to 0 first, if that doesn't help then let me fetch you an alternative table to try with your machine instead of tables + clover injection used for AMD SG and NV Optimus models.

Are you saying that there is something else i need to physically uninstall? because I thought what i took out was the old wifi card and installed a new one.

Secondly, i have upgraded to Yosemite 10.10 beta 4 and funny enough my wifi is working, profile is correct, now i am trying to get bluetooth to work. smh.

Thanks for all the help webcivilian and time walker.

Webcivillian let me know bluetooth pairing (I'm assuming between i devices) is currently broken in the current PB. but i can pair with non i devices (just confirmed)

Clean installed Yosemite using AptioFix2 driver. With this driver, Yosemite installer creates a boot entry in BIOS called Mac OS X which does not work as it does not point to Clover. This creates NVRAM issues and slows down the system. It's better to use emuVariable with AptioFix with the installer.

I'm able to use my bluetooth devices like the Magic Trackpad with Yosemite PB 6. I'm using AzureWave CE123H which is Broadcom BCM4352 + BCM20702BT.

I can't recommend you anything because you haven't followed my guide. Mine is working flawlessly, including sound pass-through..

What can I say though is - ensure to use quality HDMI cables. I have a cable ordered from China that doesn't work with my receiver, when connected directly between TV & laptop it doesn't transmit audio signal (even though laptop sees the HDMI TV as audio-capable). The cable works ok with a PS3 though .. go figure.

Ah I recognise a certain familiar SSD caddy there... :)

On other news, easy seamless upgrade to 10.10 Release from 10.9.5, only side effect is that iMessage/Facetime now does not work with Chameleon/Clover, which leaves me no option but to call Apple Support. Not a problem tho...

One strange anomaly - when trying to update apps from Appstore I get a strange NSURLErrorDomain error -1012. Anyone else seeing this?

My problem with iMessage/Facetime started after I updated to 10.9.5. During the sametime, I replaced my wifi card and cleared NVRAM from the BIOS. It could be all of these or none of them. I tried with a serial that I had used before that was working with iMessage but it did not help. Eventually I got a proper serial number for my mac model and called in. Now it works. I changed the serial number to see if it would stop and it did.

I'm not experiencing the App store error but looks like it's either related to DNS lookup or antivirus blocking some requests.

I have a BCM43225 card which has been correctly patched to show up as an Airport card. Don't think the problem is with en0. ROM string is set to match the MAC address, as is well documented elsewhere.

I have a user-generated serial which worked/works well on Chameleon. I suspect the MLB and/or UUID are more to blame, as per TW's suggestion. Interestingly though when I boot Yosemite under Chameleon, with iMessage_debug both MLB and ROM show up as the following:

2014-10-20 11:31:00.564 imessage_debug[8096:33757] 4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:ROM: failed
2014-10-20 11:31:00.565 imessage_debug[8096:33757] 4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:MLB: failed

And FaceTime still works :)

Because Clover does a better job and forces correct setting for ROM/MLB, it does not match up with the previous (unset) Chameleon settings and FT/IM stops working. Unless I can force Clover to unset any values I will need to call Apple with new UUID/MLB/ROM values to re-configure my account.
