however chameleon developers fixed this issue ^^ settings are stored on reboot,

what about loading the module nvram.dylib into UEFI?

Thx for THE hard work.

I tried to make a modded bios myself.

And got iT working, but with one problem. Nvram didn't stick.

Now I finaly found THE bios wich holds THE nvram.

ITS bios f2f.

I am busy modding iT als we speak.

Let you al know how iT Will turn out

I've modded THE bios. IT works. ITS a full mod

Added ozmosis. All needed kext And dsdt. Nvram sticks. Sleep is working. USB works.

I get an error when trying to insert Core_DXE compressed into the ROM. I saw someone at projectosx had the same problem. Is it solved or is this only possible on newer Bios.

Gigabyte z68 Uefi beta Bios : https://www.dropbox.com/s/hhh1abfzyjsp0xi/Z8MXUD2H.rom

I tried with MMTool for Aptio but I see no problem, only one thing:

the compressed size after deleting and reinserting doesn't change, due to the fact that Core_Dxe is already compressed.

Has anyone been able to see what ozmosisdefaults contains? To me that sounds like a likely config file. Maybe it'd be possible to set smbios values there and avoid having to override them in nvram afterwards?

OK, I was finally able to download the BIOS from tor. The ozmosisdefaults file is an empty plist file. So assuming it writes a filled-out one to the EFI partition I'm thinking that it should be possible to edit that and put it back into the BIOS?

@BonBon6 I extract as uncompressed and try to reinsert as compressed and get this error:

Problems with the system boot (fakesmc):

14.09.13 16:51:33,000 kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR: kSMCReadKeyComm/kSMCReadKeyWithSMCComm failed for key REV  (kSMCSuccess)

MacOS 10.8.5

this its really  not a problem.

According to key REV = Source revision

its totaly unimportant for OS..

it can be done if u make more space by deleting filesystem driver or,and ipv6 modules that are totally unneeded.

i try it and it works.

but when i try to insert those modules again into firmware then again get same error.

same behavior using phoenixtool but phoenix tool report that there are no free space to manage modules..

maybe to try extract more modules uncompresed then delete those and try to insert compressed.

will try and report if have sucess.

no sucess, try to fix this bios with help of MDL experts like andyp or yen

The system boots from the fifth or sixth time. And when that happens there is no message (kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR: kSMCReadKeyComm/kSMCReadKeyWithSMCComm failed for key REV (kSMCSuccess) in log.

The installation also fails to start on grey screen with with a rotating wheel, as it happens in the absence of fakesmc

Any suggestions.

ignore...

Fan1 Minimum RPM it has to be something coming from lpc plugin or from DSDT

if not from LPC plugin then check this thread for DSDT fix

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/289791-fixed-by-dsdt-edit-10c-temps-500rpm-fans/

it seems that with 10.8.5 we get more mavericks like problems(devisl) mega lol

Magnifico says its a  devisl in my pc ...mega lol

Slice says "This is not an error and don't need to be eliminated."

devisl in my pc ...mega lol

Yeah, I know, but there MUST be a way to fix it, Ignoring it is just not me.

Don't want my 128GB SSD filling up with logs ;)
