Because as of last week, they were still in, and if i'm not wrong, they were the responsible for the iMessage fix and the NVRAM module. In fact, meklort has been acting as the creative driving force behind Chameleon for a while, and many cool features, like the kernel patched module and the framebuffer fix for GMA, were his creations. If they're out for good, it would be really bad. They told you why? I'll better ask him. Second, welcome to Insanelymac (i'm saying this without authorization, since i'm not one of the mods: i expect iFire doesn't get mad with me ) Third, it was my idea to get the XPC topic pinned, so it has the same spotlight as the two major bootloaders (in the end, "major" is a circunstancial condition, you know). I'm now aware that the right way to get info about your bootloader is to register to your forum, but anyway, may i ask you to visit this topic some times? Perhaps you could write a tutorial for the shy user, lol... or establish an alternative channel here for quick answers and tips, etc. Anyway, keep up the good work, man! Best regards! XPC is exclusively by Iphonetom. 1) Trust me iPhoneTom knows about this topic as to we were talking in private messages about the problems of RAM and I also told him about this topic. And He didn't give me any objection. 2) As I know XPC is being developed by only one person called iPhoneTom. Do you think it will be better if peoople will ask technical questions over there such a: What is XPC? How to install it? What should I write in setting.plist? I think in this forum http://iphonetom.no-ip.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php The Questions ought to be serious.(exact bugs, suggestions to improve the XPC) I gave to people exact instruction about XPC where they can't find nowhere exept my topic. Everywhere has only pieces of XPC. By the way aschar1 what do you think about a similar topic which is placed at Applelife.ru. Honestly, The XPC is only bootloader where my RAM is detected correctly by OS. In the Clover I see the exaggerated result 1333Mhz instead of 1066Mhz. I have a notion what will happen If I install XPC to the first FAT32 partition. I tried to install XPC to third FAT32 Partition with XPC prepare tool but instead of that I got loading Chameleon. Theoretically it is possible because for computer it makes no difference working with USB flash drive or hard disk. Under stipulation that you would have mede right zero boot-sector. I don't know exactly but I think it possible if your FAT32 partition will be first and to do all operations that we make with flash drive. I could have checked it, but it depends many time to check this idea. In other words I ought to shift my first mac partition with help of paragon partition manager in my Windows 8 and create FAT32. As I say adove it is possible in theory if my notion is well. Perhaps the point is that it's forbidden to install the XPC to the HFS+. But Who said that it is forbidden on FAT32.
