Sleep broken after change from 5903 to 5102. I tried to figure it out on my own, but it is clover, so any help is appreciated, thanks johnm

How can I help you known nothing about your problem?

Been running 10.14.6 with no problems.

Tried to upgrade to 10.15.2 with Clover 5101 and Hackintool compiled WEG, Lilu, AppleALC, FakeSMC- and IntelMaus, USBInjectAll, XHCI-unsupported (latest releases) installed into /L/E and my ACPI\patched\SSDT-USB.aml.

Also a direct install of 10.15.2 to a formatted M.2.

In both cases, got thru 30 minutes of install, several reboots and almost at end, then constant crash/reboots.

Possibly the EFI drivers ApfsDriverLoader.efi, OsxAptioFix3Drv.efi, VBoxHfs.efi, FSInject.efi installed in drivers\UEFI are incorrect?

Which of the available EFI drivers are necessary to install/Upgrade 10.15.2?

Thanks!

Thank you Slice. I don't know exactly how to describe to you what you want to know. In 5903 sleep works, I upgraded to 5102 and now machine goes into a deepsleep shutdown, not the regular sleep that power light blinks, it turns off. . When I try to wake it with keyboard or mouse, it powers on but no display. I have to hold power button to force off, then when it comes up it asks for sleep password and is a resumed status. It is broken. If I put 5903 clover back and restart sleep functions as usual. Thanks for your time and help, johnm

You repeated previous post which is not containing information. You also repeat the mistake. Not 5903 but 5093.

Did you change one file? Or the whole USB stick?

Can you make preboot.log in the both cases?

What about Clover 5101, 5100, 5099 etc?

I only installed 5102 on top of 5093. I did not incrementally install each revs. I could make a preboot log if that helps. I could go back and install each different rev and see which exact version break occurs.

I know it won't help a lot Mr Slice but I had too to downgrade to 5099. Now,  I've also downgraded Lilu so I don't know if it's Clover or Lilu related. Mine once failed to come back from sleep (power on, no monitor) and another time, "Sleep wake failure KP".

Clover breaks at rev. 5100 attached preboot.log for working 5099 and not working 5100. I appreciate your help, johnm

preboot5099.log

preboot5100.log

Good.

Test, please, attached version if the problem is already resolved. If not then do the follow:

1. Boot with 5099 to Clover GUI. Press F5. Save /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin/DSDT-XXX.aml somewhere. Mark it as 5099.

2. Boot with 5102 attached here, press F5 and save the same file. It will be few bytes different.

Attach both files here. I will analyse them.

Attached did not work, sending dsdt's, Thank you, they are the same byte size though

no, sorry Slice

DSDT-5102new.aml

The DSDT is the same as with previous version. Are you sure you changed Clover?

New attempt

CLOVERX64.efi.zip

Show preboot.log to see the version was changed.

Sorry, but I gave you Clover

Starting Clover revision: 5102 (c++_globals, commit 81fdb66)

while in your preboot.log

Yeah, sorry I don't know what any of that means, but I appreciate your time

Can you change one file CLOVERX64.efi with the version I uploaded?

Or may be replace BOOTX64.efi by the file CLOVERX64.efi renamed to BOOTX64.efi

Yes, now working. I put in both your CLOVERX64.efi  and also put it in boot folder and renamed to BOOTX64.efi. Thank you. What will I do in the future?

Hey all,
I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this. I have a mac pro 2010, I'm trying to run Clover so I can access the bootloader with a non UEFI graphics card (Powercolor Vega 56).
I can't get the bootloader to show when this card is installed, it just gives me a black screen, I assume it has something to do with my config.plist.
I've tried running the config-genconfig but it just gives me a segmentation 11 fault.
I'm running Mojave 10.14.6. I'm really not sure what to do anymore.
Cheers.
