a little, because the old kernel at the start is faster, have u notice that blinking on you pc when u restart?

new kernel have new frature of fly patching

that allow you run any appliction 32/64 bit

you may feel it slow because this is the first time you use !!

to me is normal :)

using a vanilla kernel, I began to see the blinking behavior since 10.6.6.

So this seems to be general and not proper to legacy kernels.

Last login: Tue Jan 11 17:49:11 on console

/Users/piero/Downloads/boot/bdmesg ; exit;

PieroMac:~ piero$ /Users/piero/Downloads/boot/bdmesg ; exit;

-bash: /Users/piero/Downloads/boot/bdmesg: Bad CPU type in executable

this happens on some cpus (even intel). I don't know which problem it's actually yelling about. I'd study it later. In the meantime, u can ask bdmesg's author: kabyl
