moksha
Works fine on my iMac Intel Core Duo. I guess the point of this was if it worked on the über Hackintoshes rather than the machines Apple designed them to work with, but ah well. snackole
Downloaded and installed via SoftwareUpdate on my emachines 5010 running 10.4.6 Thanks for the heads up. By the way, shouldn't SoftwareUpdate notify of updates when they become availiable. lunchandamovie
So I guess Software Update does work for all versions of Tiger since 10.4.4, correct? Is it a security risk at all, as in telling apple about our "Macs" (or is that a dumb question ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15406-j2se-50-release-4-intel/#findComment-99091 Share on other sites

A Nonny Moose
Is it possible to uninstall older versions of Java? Wouldn't do it. There are apps that specifically call for the previous version and won't run if you delete anything.
