  1. [Guide] 10.10 On the Surface Pro 3

My system (SP3 - 10.10.5) completely restarts when I kextload this
  2. [Guide] 10.10 On the Surface Pro 3

Is it possible to get two-finger scrolling working on type cover?
  3. [GUIDE] Leopard on an XPS 1330/1530

It will freeze if you connect hdmi->hdmi, convert to dvi and it works fine.
  4. [GUIDE] Leopard on an XPS 1330/1530

Newer bootloaders have restart fix integrated, you don't have to use the kext.
  5. You need to hex edit Ethernet driver to include your MAC address, search around the forums, there is a topic that covers it. VoodooHDA needs its dependencies if you want it in /E/E, so copy those.
  6. [GUIDE] Leopard on an XPS 1330/1530

Problem started in 10.6.2 NVIDIA kexts, I was hoping it would be fixed in 10.6.3. Workaround is you need to revert it back to 10.6 ones.
  7. [GUIDE] Leopard on an XPS 1330/1530

Its possible, im using it like that. Set hfs partition as active. In Windows, use rmbr to set partitions to buttons.
  8. Use VoodooMonitor or MSR Tools to test speedstep, Coolbook isn't reliable.
  9. I really like the new organization of ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin, much simple and clear. I guess they had to organize it better with so many models.
  10. I doubt there is going to be an i7 Macbook soon. It won't have NVIDIA chipset, so no more integrated 9400, back to Intel IGP, significant performance decreases on pretty much all over Apple lineup. Core i7 mobile still consumes a lot of power compared to C2D Penryns.
  11. [GUIDE] Leopard on an XPS 1330/1530

You need to unload/load kext before/after sleep so you won't get corruption, use sleepwatcher to automate.
  12. Thanks, works great in Snow 32/64.
  13. There is sort of a workaround. If you use 64-bit kernel, it will work fine. I guess interrupt request lines doesn't conflict since 64-bit memory range is much bigger.
  14. Hex for x86_64 Yukon2 (10.6.0/.1): 1AE20: C6 45 C0 00 C6 45 C1 11 ...
