This my hardware in DPCIManager in IORegistry hey GLXOZ. i'm wondrin why u still can't get your audio onboard dp35dp work w/ Alain's v3 kexts for stac9271d. u may try the one i attached & make sure u delete any other version of hdaenabler. hope you'd get it working already. good luck. Italia64
Thanks for the reply. However, I haven't installed Leopard on my BA2 PC yet. Can you please point me to the tutorial that you used to get you to the point "just before" your instructions above? Thanks! I used the boot-132 Munky method, with a retail Leopard DVD; the thread is near the top of the Tutorial section. The difficult part was getting to the point where I had a boot-132 disk that would work. Once I had that, it was easy to follow Munky's instructions and install Leopard. Requires a separate hard drive for the Leo install (if you are dual or triple booting) and it only works with GUID formatting of the drive. _caine
Where you get "pin-configuration" and how your BIOS version? What is your BIOS version? Some changes regarding codec were made by Intel in 0372 (not sure, maybe 0407) BIOS. In previous and later BIOSes everything is OK. And - what is your problem exacly??? If your rear mic input won't work be calm, please, it won't work at anyone with this driver. Only front mic an line in are working inputs. Also, read this, please. It could be helpful in you don't have front mic panel.

_caine
hey _caine! did u also have the kernel panic problem at shutdown? I never seen any kernel panics at all through all the time I use hackintosh (about a year). Network kext works normal, I do not see any problems. And - yes, I use OpenHaltRestart.kext too. AlainTox714
Please guys keep this thread for Intel HDA Audio Codec STA92xxD. You will confuse new commers with LAN not working and kernel panic. you report: now in profiler it shows Device ID: 0x80860519 Audio ID: 2 Available Devices: Headphone: Connection: 1/8 inch Jack Microphone: Connection: 1/8 inch Jack S/P-DIF Out: Connection: Optical I got this report because i added configdata which i got from vista regedit This is the data i got on my audio from DPCIManager WARNING : v1, v2, v3 AppleHDA.kext are not made to work in any bootloader (even if someone got it working). Put this kexts only at the root in /System/Library/Extensions, nowhere else. I won't do any support for this now as i haven't test it. -------------------------------------------------------------- I am shure you are using at the same time another audio injector, it's the reason why you can get sound. 1) I check your IOPCIPrimaryMatch and it is 0x293E8086, so it's OK. 2) DELETE every kext related to Audio ALCInject, HDAEnabler, AppleHDA and if your are using EFI strings the Audio part, in S/L/E and in every place you put this kexts, i mean special folder/partition used by bootloader. 3) Delete Audio cache and mkext. 4) Restart and check you get nothing in System Profiler in Audio item. 5) If Audio report is empty go to 6 otherwise go to 2 unless you get an empty Audio report. 6) Copy HDAEnabler, AppleHDA kext in S/L/E set rights and perm's, restart. 7) If your jacks are working with vista, linux or XP they will be functionning. Hope this help. Maybe i must make another dump? This my hardware in DPCIManager in IORegistry Why? your IOPCIPrimaryMatch is good, check in terminal if all 4 HDA* kexts are loaded, if not follow the steps 2 to 6 should works. I have tried all jack ports and i am not getting any sound at all with Leopard Sorry to be very insitant, now i know for shure. About NodeID 36 both DX38BT and BADAXE 2 have the same node: Node 36 [Volume Knob Widget] wcaps 6291456: Mono Have you try another Custom DVD like Leo4All, i have reed a long time ago that iAtkos stripped all PPC code from is DVD and it is highly customized, so possibly something can prevent sound working. Personnaly i use a vanilla install with just a few kexts in EFI partition.

I remember i have somewhere iDeneb 10.5.4, so i make a clean install just add my 2 kexts and i can tell you it completely works. Otherwise yes i install from original leopard dvd. From a working partition, I mount the DVD on desktop and in terminal type: open /Volumes/Mac OS X Install DVD/System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg enter your password when asked, then follow the usual procedure eg choise a partition erase and install. Don't reboot archive delete and add some specific kext like dsmos Install boot loader bootefi.v8 works fine or Chameleon then reboot. Normaly enjoy if you mobo is comptatible (i think yes) sound should works.
_caine
At this moment we have 2 Outs (speakers & headphones) and 3 outputs (Line, Front Mic and maybe SPDIF) working. That is great!! But there's a question: is there any chance to get another 2 (or 3 in case 9274D) outputs working?

Sadly no as Mac computer doens't handle 5.1 or 7.1 HD Audio I just done a clean install with efi v8 leo4all v3 then i installed sound driver before anything else and it did not work Very sad to read this, if i got time will try with leo4all v3, but i have to download it before, on the other side if you could try with iDeneb as i know it is working. It also seems that you don't benefit of Jack Sensing and Jack Retasking technology, could be another problem. "Do not mistake Jack Sensing and Universal Audio Jack, even if they are intimately related. The Universal Audio Jack is indeed a system, which allows the controller to automatically detect the type of media connected to all inputs and outputs." from: http://www.behardware.com/articles/555-3/i...nition-dio.html Notice the differences in the 2 diagrams are big enought to get sound not working. Otherwise a discover a very nice and complete ATX motherboard, if i don't own a Bad Axe i am pretty shure i had choise it.
