  1. I don't use clover and I don't patch anything so I can't say if those patchs will works. I am using an SSDT like this: https://pikeralpha.wordpress.com/2015/12/22/my-initial-elcapitan-usb-workaround/ To disable the USB3 device on my DSDT and let the kernel extention populate the USB3 device and it works fine.
  2. Try to use shorter USB3 links, sometimes it works!

    Right way to check speedstep?

Yes looks good, to check after waiting a while just run an heavy task and you will see the power and frequency reaching the max. I do nothing when checking this, but frequency not stable: that doesn't means the computer do nothing!

Patched mach_kernel 10.8.X for Atom CPUs

Thanks for your answer I will search about kextsymboltool. Otherwise I know how to patch all kernels with a script or on the fly within the bootloader but those kext are helpfull when you want to install from DVD without using NullCPM kext. Edited: Thanks again got it working with kextsymboltool and now I know how to get access to any unexported symbol from the kernel.

Patched mach_kernel 10.8.X for Atom CPUs

Hi, meklort Sometimes ago you made the CPUIDSymbols.kext, I would be happy to get the source of that kext cause binary is stripped. I found sources for CPUIDOverride.kext on the web but not for CPUIDSymbols.kext. If this is possible thanks in advance. AlainTox714

    I hosed my OSX

GUID SOLUTION: 1) Boot your mac with an OS X Install DVD (doesn’t matter which version, whatever is installed on your system would be best).
2) Start Disk Utility
3) Select the OS X HDD/SSD that you screwed up (not specific partition)
4) Go to the Partition tab
5) Grab the lower right corner of your key partition and resize it a little bit (no matter how much/little you resize it as long as you change the partition size)
6) Click Apply. Relax, this will NOT erase your HDD/SSD, it only rewrites your GUID partition data that will fix your HDD/SSD.
 7) Quit the Disk Utility and reboot.
8) Enjoy your restored Mac that should now boot normally! Hope this help.

  12. Master Chief suggestions that BuildSmart takes credit for other people's work is an attack on BuildSmart, is not true and violates the rules Master Chief posted but his post was not edited or deleted yet Master Chief is not banned.
  13. In anyway BuildSmart did not decide to removed his posts and files, someone did it without asking him when he got banned. BuildSmart ended up creating a forum to keep the work alive because they deleted everything related to him.
  14. Can you be kind enought to stop posting rumors only for pleasure of harm. Thanks in advance.

    ES137x AC97 Driver

I'm trying to find the source code for this driver, I see it has been abandoned/orphaned but I'd like to fix some issues with the driver and this requires the source. Does anyone have it or know where I can obtain it, seems maxxuss has long since disappeared and attempts to contact him seems fruitless.
