specs:

NVIDIA GeForce 8200M

AMD Turion X2 64

Hy. it have been a long long time ago since i've tryed a lot of iso (leoall or idened or iatkos) but for the turion x64 on HP671x laptop i can't boot with success any macos. I've tried with -x -v -s -f and combination of those.

i've tried with vmware and those parameters.. also cpus=1 or with vmdonk iso.

I'm bored .. cos i'd like to spend my energy for that and start to give my contribution about that.

but .. where I can find an iso to start installing a leopard stable release on my laptop?

bye

Hi.

Help me please. My installation of leo4allv4.1 give STILL WAITING...

What is the solution of the problem?

Assuming that the the problem is the chip I decided to add the iso AppleATIATA.kext :

1)with MKextTool I recreated Extensions.mkext and Transmac I added without any problem for the iso in system\library

2)with Transmac want to add in AppleATIATA.kext system\library\extension but this message appears :

""THIS VOLUME DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH FREE SPACE. 654KB MORE REQUIRED. DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE?" clic on YES and "NOT ENOUGH SPACE ON MAC DISK"

The iso is on hd of 107gb free.

Why?

Help me please.

thanks

Thank you so much! I finally have Leo installed and working WELL!

Only issues - can't install sleep kernel - get error at install. If computer tries to monitor standby or go to sleep it hard freezes. No biggie, just disabled both as I don't need them.

Integrated yukon 8056 networking did NOT work at all initially. I had to delete the appleyukon2.kext and replace with a hacked appleyukon.kext. Works perfectly!

I cannot use bittorrent. For some reason if I use it for any large torrents it will cause a kernel panic. This is a big problem as I'm a download freak but I've yet to find any sort of solution (some point to hd driver/chipset other to ethernet - can't find ANY fixes though!)

Start up is sloww!!! I can't boot up in less than three minutes or so (which could be a lot worse, I know). I'm wondering if I installed something I didn't need (perhaps I didn't need nforce ata, perhaps?)

Other than that I have to say I'm ecstatic! I still boot into vista for gaming and downloading, but for casual use or fun I poke around in Leopard. Runs quickly, is beautiful to use...

I'll try playing more and updating from 10.5.4 if I can get myself an external HD sometime this Christmas - I'd love to backup before I play around because honestly I don't want to screw this up after all my hard work.

@ThawkTH

what is your system specs

pry can get this worked out for ya

@behast

I'm running an amd x2 4000+ 64-bit

It's an acer t180 if that helps at all

4gb RAM

Geforce 6800 Graphics

(I believe it has integrated geforce 6100)

The ATA/Mobo chipset is Nforce (which generation I'm not sure how to tell)

Drives are SATA

If I bootup with the -v flag the last message I see during bootup before it hangs for a solid 2 minutes is nforce ata - 0 devices (or something to that note, I'm not in front of my comp right now) - do you think this means I don't need the nforce kext?

Is there a log kept when we have a kernel panic? Or of startup?

Thank you so much! I'm convinced the startup and crashing issues are related as I've used quite a bit of bandwith without issue.

Well guys to tell you what it works. But I'm unable to configure dual boot with Vista x64. Tried with EasyBSD and it worked. However, easy bsd need to install its own vista boot loader which cracks my bios emulation (as I'm using cracked vista) Any other ideas as to how to use the included chamaleon to configure this dual boot?

Hi guys and gals...

Any news about the MCP67 / MCP68 problems freezing while formating the partition in the install ?

what is the actual problem ur facing can u just elaborate or explain your problem

Hi,

I've been trying to install le4all v4 on my Compaq CQ60 with no luck. Basically, it stops loading kexts at TMSafetyNet without outputting any useful info to trace the problem back.

I wanted to give a shot to once trying on VMWare before I gave up for good.

The DVD also stops booting at TMSafetyNet.kext, but at least it outputs where the kernel panic happens. Here is what I get from VMWare:

My specs are:

Turion X2 64

3 GB DDR2

Nvidia 8200M G - 256 MB

Motherboard - Wistron 303C

USB, Sound, Ethernet, SATA and IDE (DVDRW) are controlled by the Nvidia 8200M chipset.

Connexant HD smart audio 221.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
