djet
Straight cheddar really hits the spot sometimes, but to me it can be too strong so I also enjoy milder ones like White American. apowerr
Never tried White American, I will look out for it when next in the supermarket. What does it taste like? Good! I don't know what brands you have in the UK but avoid the cheaper ones, Kraft White American is way to rubbery. White American is perfect for sandwiches, grilled cheese, burgers etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/116654-favorite-cheese/#findComment-828617 Share on other sites
Special-K
Feta Pepper Jack Swiss Munster (sp?) Sharp Cheddar (on grilled cheese) Parmesan (only on pizza) Mozzarella (only on pizza) Ricotta (only on pizza) Provelone (sp?) (only on my Subway sandwiches) I can't stand American. I think it's one of the most disgusting thing I've eaten. I've always wanted to try Brie, but I just never got around to it. Paranoid Marvin
I've always wanted to try Brie, but I just never got around to it. Brie is so amazing. My favourite thing at the moment is bacon and brie muffins - they are so amazing, but take me ages to make. Brie is such a hassle to prepare sometimes.... I have a cheese store close by that sells great cheese for lower than the supermarket stuff. Sabr
Red Leicester all the way. However, only Mature Cheddar or Parmesan can be used on Spaghetti Bolognese. By the way, I've moved this to the Thunderdome, since I don't really think this falls under "The place for politics, sports, philosophy, religion, and all the things that probably matter most." Depends on how much cheese matters to you. Sorry for posting in the wrong forum. I didn't know where to post it so I just put it in Real Life. Sabr
Depends on how much cheese matters to you. I find your lack of faith disturbing. Haha! Another disturbing fact: I absolutely hate brie...
