~pcwiz
Added a Submit Info screen built right into the app: It looks like its integrated into the program, but its actually a web view embedded in the window that displays an online form page formatted to look like its native OS X When you click Submit, it will send an email to me containing your info. Colonel
Ahh, pcwiz, you beat me to it. I too had been working on a project that does something similar to this.. however I believe we can make our tools work in collaboration with each other, it's a project I've been slowly working on and off on for months now, but I should probably kick it into high gear now that the 2nd half of it is done (thanks to you) ... Throw me a message if you're further interested...

DietDew
Pcwiz, I'd be happy to test this app for you also. I have one prob that I can not seem to fix now as I'm an OSX newb! My second sound card is a Turtle Beach Riveria, which is CI8738 chip. Found the binary for it, but just to lame to figure it out. Also, my GFX is a 9600GT which I know is not going to work until Snow releases, but I will be switching with my work box, an 8800GT. Thanks bro! quinielascom
Good question I guess if both drivers work then I can just choose one and it wouldn't matter right? I guess that question is for when devices with same id mach and only one driver works (obviously you do not know which, because the idea is create a easy installer) for your hardware or when diferent fixes or patches are necessary for solve the same problem, then your utility what do it ? Is very common that same device works somebody with especific patched kext and another people download those kext for same device/hardware but with other "distro" version or configuration and no work. Regards. Saludos.
~pcwiz
I know it doesn't work for some people, but this is as good as an automated utility gets. I mean you can't make the utility have a human like mind and automatically analyze the entire system and determine that the kext won't work
