I can't fix it now :)

 

Can you explain how you got Counter-Strike Source to work? Are you using Steam? as im trying to get steam version to work so i can play online.

I would like to make Nox working with cider. I've tried everything with the GameTap 1310 version i have sound but a black screen !! A little help would be very appreciate :) Here's my config file :

hey guys, i tried this version of cider with GTA3 and it works but is extremely jumpy. after playing around i think it's not working with the directx dlls. it works with or without them in the system32 folder but either way is extremely jumpy. is there something i'm missing like a string that needs to be changed to get it to use the correct version of directx or something. this is my first time trying cider and i'm not having much luck, lol.

How in **** did you get CS 1.6 to even start? Been trying with 1430 and a older one, but I can't it to not go into fullscreen and the crash.

Please tell us how?

I've had this problem with Half-Life 2 but that's the same engine so the solution should be the same:

 

You need to find two files: ClientScheme.res and SourceScheme.res (for Half-Life 2 they were in hl2 > Resource... not sure about CS: Source but you should find them). Inside both of these files you have to find the section that looks something like this:

There are lots of segments like this but some of them are missing the "antialias" "1" bit. I'm not exactly sure to which parts you need to add this so I just added it to all the fonts... and the silly red stuff was gone...

 

It was quite similar for CS 1.6 but I don't remember which .res files you have to edit there...The ClientScheme.res shold be the same and instead of SourceScheme.res there was a different file... I'd say it was in Platform > resource > TrackerScheme.res

Alright i have a bunch of games for windows. Boot Camp failed on my Macbook, twice it erased the OSX partition, the first time it was installed by an Apple Genius. What a mess. The virtual machine i have set up doesn't have the power to run any game. So how would i use Cider to wrap, say, Assassins Creed? I have a ciderized version of Borderlands already and it works really well, but i want to know if i'd be able to use DLC's and the 1.30 patch with it. How would I install those? I'm new to Cider so i don't really know much about it, but i do have a lot of technical experience with macs. Any way you could post a beginners guide?
