What settings do you have in energy saver?

Jaymack.. #1-Put hard Disks To sleep. #2-Wake for Ethernet network access.. I've experimented with checking/unchecking to no avail. Thanks!

I´d tried your EFI folder and my computer do not start up, I´m back to my EFI and my cmos reset problem  :(

But sleep works perfect  :)

jaygrid... does the system boot to clover, and kernel panic?

It´s in Spanish but you understand I think  :)

With your EFI folder, boot to clover and the black screen with the apple and the bar is there for ever (or at least for long time), I don´t even check verbose mode to see what happen. I put back mine and boot normally, as I said sleep works perfect so no so bad. I´d go back to Capitan but photo library is not compatible, hope next release solve this.

By the way, when I have a Cmos reset is like this:  sometimes when I shutdown the system reboot itself but stop in the list of drives (with F1 to save in the bottom) as if i´d change the config and when I go in bios config, the option network service boot is enable and hyperthreading is disable. I always disable network boot because if not you get a spontaneous reboot.

Only to be sure we all are talking about the same

Problem of instant wake after sleep is solved! I patched my DSDT w/ Rehab's USB3_PRW 0x06 patch and voila! In addition, my external USB Audio Interface (Alesis ControlHUB) is preventing my system to stay in "sleep" mode. Thanks, and I'd be happy to follow this forum and improve the Z Series going forward.

Greetings! HPZ600 Workstation ( 2 x Xeon5520's + Nvidia K600 + 12GB Ram + 500GB SataHD) Been running 10.12.3 Sierra successfully with patched AppleICPM and re-tuned FakeSMC based off of Mac Pro 5,1. My only issue presently is the system auto-wakes immediately from sleep. Was able to extract native DSDT, but I've probably not applied the proper patches. Any suggestions or advice would be most appreciated!

go into the bios and disable NIC - wake from lan

Also in your OS-X settings and in Windows settings also if you have dual boot.

I use to have this same problem.

Other wise every time your computer goes to sleep the lan activity will immediately wake it up.

ssprod has already posted that he has wake up from LAN disabled.

Hi, finally yesterday I got OS X El Capitan in my HP Z400 and it's very stable.

But I have two problems:

1)  When I shutdown my HP, it restarts every time.

2) Audio doesn't works, and I don't know how to solve it.

I think that I can solve this problems with Clover configurator, but I don't know how to do it.

Can you help me please?

Thank you

In Bios disable wakeup on LAN. Install Voodoo to enable internal sound. Make sure onboard sound is turned on in BIOS.

VoodooHDA-v2.8.7.pkg (1).zip

DSDT.aml.zip

I used the chris1111's app: Clover Dell Precision 690 to create the boot USB, and I used the same app with the post install.

So, I used the DSDT which is included it.

jaymack already postet a solution ;-) http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307064-hp-z400z600z800-workstations-os-x-1010x1011x-installation/page-48?do=findComment&comment=2392514

I changed the DSDT file in the EFI partition and I installed the Voodoo file. Now I can see some connections in Preferences/Sound.

I choose one and I start to listen something, but one second later, the sound stops.

And I have another problem, because, now that I can see sound connections, I can't see my firewire sound card.

I saw in a post a solution: erase AppleHPET.kext of system/library/extensions but it didn't work for me.

Some ideas?

Thank you so much for your help

Hi friends, i need to update Clover,  That is, to install on the EFI partition(ESP) and not on the main partition. What is the process...When clover displays the "Where to install" options, the EFI partition does not appear.

Thanks...

Have you tried mounting the EFI?
