I have problems with the latest version.

Using old 5.1.68 HWMonitor package:

Attached File  Képernyőfotó 2013-10-11 - 12.03.36.png   47.98KB   13 downloadsAttached File  Képernyőfotó 2013-10-11 - 12.03.51.png   199.46KB   11 downloads

Using the latest 5.3.891 HWMonitor package:

Attached File  Képernyőfotó 2013-10-11 - 11.56.37.png   31.66KB   12 downloadsAttached File  Képernyőfotó 2013-10-11 - 11.56.24.png   191.33KB   12 downloads

With the latest version I lost two temps in iStat widget and lost one temp in HWMonitor App.

I didn't tested between these two versions so I don't know when this got broken... :(

Rollbacked to 5.1.68.

As HWSENSORS updates i lose or changes every time a new value on temps or voltage or fan.sometimes it displays a negative value sometimes zero value or 130 celsius. And this hapens on my main pc and laptop too while on laptop i have only cpu ang gpu sensors nothing else.

hi kozlek...after the 5.3.8.77 update, the app says update available...but only installs the updated fakesmc, not the hardware monitor app...normal? :smoke:

...my mistake, it was updating the app in the binaries folder, not the app in my applications folder

Hi! Running MavGM clean install with latest HW sensor, I get Core 1, core 2 and thermal zone temp, but I have an error in kernel log regarding this sensor chip.

2013-10-15 17:00:25,000 kernel[0]: SuperIODevice: [Fatal] found unsupported ship ITE sequence ID=0xffff, Winbond sequence ID=0xfc11

What could this mean?

Is this Dell notebook? If yes then forget superio.kext.

Yes. Dell Vostro 3300. Why should I forget this superio? Isn't that the fan sensor? Cause I try to make the fan be detected by HWmonitor but no success.

ACPI sensors are meant for that, not LPC sensors. You have to code ACPI methods that pull fan speed readings.

Can anyone help me with what appears to be a problem regarding my GPU sensor readings? I'm using a GeForce GT240 and it appears to be stuck at 37 degrees Celsius even if I run a game or a benchmark on it.

Hi!

How do I do this ACPI coding?

I cant find anything in my DSDT or SSDT table related to fan or voltage. HWmonitor can detect temp for cores and thermalzone.

I Aida64 I can see some informations, but I dont have any skils to port these codes.

Any help will be grateful.

Hi

Another bug report: I think HWMonitor reports wrong CPU speed data (frequency and multipliers). It shows my i5-3230M to work at x22, but according to AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementInfo.kext, MSRDumper.kext and DPCIManager, most of the time it works at x12  (like it should).
