This works for me on stock 10.6.4 with QE/CI on a Sapphire Radeon 4670 512MB card using DVI-DVI. This card also has HDMI out and VGA out, neither of which work for me. Has anyone managed to get HDMI out working on a 4670?
I triple-boot this machine into SL, Linux and Win7. On Linux and Win 7 I have dual monitors on the HDMI and DVI ports of the 4670. I'm an OS X neophyte - does anyone know whether dual monitor support is possible on OS X with the 4670, either with stock or custom kexts, DSDT or EFI?
Thanks to everyone for all the great work - it took a bit of effort to get this working but it would not have been possible without these forums.

Hey, was wondering if you can do something for the HD4330, 0x95521002 (RV710).
I got it to work with 1366x768x32 useing "radeonhd.kext" but it doesnt always load. and i realy dont know how it did load! I massecure with altering the ati4600 and ati4800 kext's, and when i least expected it booted up 1366x768x32 and i wold like to see that in "permanent mode".

I've got an Ati HD 4600 and a Snow Leopard 10.6.6.
What could I do to make it work? I just have the 1024x768 resolution and the graphic card is not recognized at all.
Any advice?

I think with the 4650 you gona have to add your device ID to the ati4600.kext ... unless apple has added it.. and then with that 4650 you may need a kext still just try it out and see.. if I had a 4650 I would help you test it out..

Thanks for your work on this; I have a dell sxps 1645 with a ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 card. I installed lion on my system but im stuck at a lower resolution. I have Chameleon 2.0 RC5 bootloader installed and I tried to patch the boot file with PC EFI 10.6 and edit the com.apple.boot.plist to include the two kernal flags pci1 GraphicsEnabler=yes
After doing this I couldnt boot lion at all and have to use my bootable lion usb drive to boot. I was wondering if the reason I can't boot is because of the 10.6 pcEFI, or I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone help me?
