Here I'll be posting news from the WWDC Keynote Address minutes (maybe seconds) after it rolls out of Stevie's mouth. And then (like BOOM!) you can all post your reactions. The format will be as close to one-liners as we can get them, so subscribe to this thread and you'll be sure to stay abreast of the latest and greatest.

 

We are also collecting feeds from many different sources for WWDC and displaying the results in #WWDC on irc.macspeak.net with your IRC client or use our forum's java client.

with time machine, you can get those files back by entering a date or time"

 

 

finder windows move through timeline on the side of the machine through time

10:39 am great for finder - but can work with 3rd party apps as well

10:39 am it is that easy to go back in time and restore what you want to restore

10:39 am desktop "warps" back to place in time

Since the new systems at $2499 are 2x faster than quad and $1000 less, anyone feel with VISTA a year of MSFT is screwed?!

it seems like a nice feature, and i cant really tell until i've used it, but it seems like something i'd turn off.

Yeah - but there will surely be settings about how much you want to store (dare I say like system restore :s)

Cool beta software coming up folks, to be included with leopard

 

1) boot camp!

 

2) next generation of frontrow will incorporate photobooth

 

3) Virtual desktops

 

4) Mail and Safari get overhaul

 

5) Spotlight gets an overhaul. --> it can now search other machines where you have permission (i.e., workgroup servers, etc.,)

 

6) More animations

It would depend on the amount you want to allow for Time Machine. Ram? I don't think it will since the process of saving a file activates the Time Machine function.
