Ahhhhhh, My Controls is back!!!!!!!

 

(Other, the smilies problem still has not been fixed as it was meant to be with the new skin. Just sending a reminder in case you've (I think it was you anyway) have forgotten.

Other than that, I'm really liking the new editing features...the profiles are quite nice now too. More Ajax is fine with me.

What i find on every site but miss here is the "show my messages"

I can only see my last 10 messages. Sometimes i want to see or somebody aswerewd in my topics. Becuase there are so many questions posted that a question scroll away from the screen in halve a day.

 

So how about it? can we add this functionality, only 10 messages is really to less.

joseafus: It should be the same as before, shouldn't it? Clicking on My Controls at the top of the page, and choosing Signature/Avatar settings from the side bar, should do the trick.

i never did that before, i always just went to my profile, and it would be there (Edit Signature/ My Avatar Options)

Also, I must've overlooked it before, but the 5-star topic ranking system is nice now as well!

I like the new system too but I’m just worried that it won't be used right and that everyone will give anything they find useful 5* and so they all become meaningless to an extent.

 

I'm not so keen on the edit message that appears notifying others of an edit. "This post has been edited by AcePlayer". I know many sites have this but I loved the fact this didn't. All it does is clutter the post. And that's something we should avoid.

 

PS. I'm still wondering where the delete post function is. Was next to EDIT, QUOTE, REPLY at the bottom right-hand of each of your posts. I've double posted the same thing in another thread by accident and need to delete my second post.

 

Also the smiles boxes are still with wrong sizes. I'm refering to the normal smiles it shows when you're writing a new post and also when you click on Show All.

i agree with aceplayer, all it does is clutter the post and distract the reader from the posts important content

I can't wait for the search features .. what will be there???

I wouyd to see a "mark all topic read" on the (1) subgroups instead of marking every message read in every subgroup.

Is that possible?
