I too used to have a laptop with mobile AMD which gave me around 26 minutes. It had an AMD Sempron Mobile 3000+, 1280MB of shared RAM, etc. However, the Macbook Pro is known for its above average battery life. Colonel Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 My old MacBook was getting about 30 mins with its original battery. I took it to the Apple Store and they replaced it with a new one free of charge. Then it went back to its original 4 hours of battery life. My iBook, however, can get up to 6 hours with wifi off and the screen on the dimmest settings.
