mlazy
Hey Jalavoui and mlazy, will have to take that .dmg file down. I lied about it working 100%. After install it wouldn't load for some reason and so i manually loaded it and rebooted and then tried to turn it on and crashed.. Ran in -s and got a KP. Will upload a pic when i get home because no camera with me. I had to revert back to older driver to get it to work again. Whats weird is older driver works with new nsGUI so i can still connect with my hidden SSID. Weird huh. Sorry for this guys. Just Deprecated from Downloads. Let me know when the next one works.. @irBOrNE
Hey guys, if you have any specific instructions for me, I'm happy to piece together what files are needed together to hopefully make the iwi2200 work if that would help. Got some free time finally today to work on this. You guys are doing a fantastic job so far BTW.. pa28cr
Hi all, I have a question about compiling, does it has to be in xcode, or can it be done in any other compiler? Seeing as jalavoui is moving so fast, and my inability to download xcode until i get a real internet connection... Why as en1 give all these errors (even scan so badly) and as en4 didnt act so bad? Is supposed to work better as en1, right?. pere
Needed 3 reboots to stop freezing, but finally worked with no freezes and kp. Now the interface need to be loaded manually to system preferences>network. The hardware button acts as it must, stops the scan and restart it on OFF/ON, the card is still on i think. Attached logs from boot and several OFF/ON hardware switches. @irBOrNE
Am happy to report I got the iwi2200.dmg from SVN latest working finally after doing a little tweaking. Basically after the install, I went to the Disk Utility and repaired permissions, but it still wouldn't work. Through the terminal, I was able to see that permissions were correctly set for iwi2200.kext & iwi2200.pkg, but ownership was not consitent with the other files in that dir. Was able to change ownership back to root for all contained files within those packages with the "chown" command. After another reboot, nsGUI did not come up automatically, but when running manually, it came right up, I was able to power on the device, and log onto my WEP enabled wireless. Hope this helps to adjust the dmg package installer. Speed seems to be noticeably better than before now as well, looks like there has been some great work on this, keep it up!
