Rumor has it that they will be releasing new iPod models. For the last two weeks Apple has not been filling any orders for the iPods at their stores. This practically insures that new exciting models are on their way. As to how they will look, many have said that it will look a lot like the iPhone, and even share some features. Can't say that these are real, but the design looks very promising and does have a bit of improvement in terms of size. I'm hoping for Flash-based iPods. My guess would be a 30 GB Flash iPod and an 80 GB HDD iPod, plus new designs. Turn it sideways and you'll have 16.9, and of course touchscreen would be a natural. I'm also wondering if they'll have those new organic screens that don't use much power. This would increase battery life by 3 or 4 fold. I think you meant 'wouldn't' buy it Making it similar is exactly what Apple does. It's how they get people excited about new products and reinforce product loyality, by making it look similar but have different features (one is a iPod, one is a phone). Look at the Mac mini and the AppleTV, that's why they have the same footprint.
