AMD X2 4600+

ASUS M2N32 SLI Deluxe

4Go DDR2 800

ASUS 7600GT (I have two cards, but i have to unplug one to make osx boot)

 

Installed on a 80Go IDE drive, then installed the Sil 3132 drivers (SATA)

Cloned my drive to a 160Go SATA with carbon copy cloner

Dual boot with the chain0 tip (XP pro / OSX)

Im running a universal kernel, works fine for me.

uname -a
Darwin Lenes-Computer.local 8.9.1 Darwin Kernel Version 8.9.1: Sun May  6 17:37:57 UZT 2007; made by ToH:xnu-792.18.15/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 i386 i386

 

Just about this mac that I cant get to work, tried both loginwindow from 10.4.4/5

I guess here that the "universal kernels" are netkas' uni kernels.

All I can say to you is that this kernel is used on the myzar/"tubgirl" 10.4.9 dvd (tpb), and works fine with me.

 

Haven't tried uphuck's dvd yet (d@mn slow on demonoid... yes, decided to have a try at it although I'm totally satisfied with myzar's great work), but in any case, you should be able to try different kernels without re-installing the whole shebang: I hope you can have access to the different kernels to try them on the uphuck's dvd...

I cant even get mine to install!!!!

mine stops at the nvidianforceata.. And says "Waiting for root device"

Any way i can get around this?

Specs:

AMD Athlon x2 3600+

2GB ddr2 667mhz

Gigabyte GA-M55SLI-S4

Are you trying to install to a SATA based HD on a Nforce4 chipset?

ASUS A8N-SLI - NVIDIA nForce 4 (patched with nForce 4 SATA Patch)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+

512 MB eVGA NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX (flashed with hacked ROM)

OnboardRealtek '97 (Azalia Audio used for this)

 

Works perfectly! Sound, video, all works, no crashes or kernel panics whatsoever! PM me if you have similar hardware and questions.

Hey there i have a problem, when I start up some times it just sits at the screen with all the text on and does not go into the GUI, or it comes up with a white screen, usually to solve this i switch it on and off a couple of times and it seems to fix it, how do I shot this from happing?

 

My system is

 

AMD X2 4400

ATI X1600 Pro

1.5GB RAM

ASUS M2V - TVM
