I have Xp already installed on Disk0 Partition1, and OS 10.5 installed on Disk1 Partition1 (2 seperate drives). Is there anyway I could just add some lines to Windows' boot.ini file in order to have an option that points ot Disk1 instead of 0? Right now I just use my motherboard's F8 Boot Menu but I'd rather have my Mac partition available in the Windows Bootloader.

Soobasically my question is, how I can I do this without having to wipe either my Xp or OS 10.5 installations?

Edit: Nevermind I just did the Chain0 trick B)

make sure you the following setups:

1. put chain0 in c: drive

2. edit boot.ini and insert c:\chain0="OSX"

It should look like this:

[boot loader]

timeout=30

default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS

[operating systems]

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Media Center Edition"

c:\chain0="OSX"

*** you may substitute osx any name of your choice.

3. Reboot and try.

IF STILL IT DOES NOT WORK, TRY READING THIS AGAIN

sorry I'm a bit of a newbie at this, I already have kalyway and tinyxp on seperate hard drives, if I want to switch from one to the other I have to change the hard drive priorities in the bios.

Is there anyway I can edit the darwin bootloader or the windows boot.ini file so I don't have to go into the bios every time I want to switch.

Any help please ?

"Paste this file: com.apple.Boot.plist" what do you meen with this i haven't copy anything so what do i need to paste?

This step i have pased and followed the next so change :

copy and paste this in your terminal window right after root#

chown -R root:wheel /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist

chmod -R 755 /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist

But after restar i don't see any timer and when the slash signed turns i hit the enter key and then nothing happends.
