That is not correct. I have given the explanation on the green demon. I will copy it here:

 

...the patch works by installing a sort of TimeCracker, which autostarts when you login and makes MacDrive believe it was just installed. So every day, the remaining days for activation are the same.

Therefore I think the TimeOutPatch has to be run right after installing MacDrive.

It is a bit annoying though to see that stupid message of MacDrive asking for activation every single time I reboot my computer.

I think somebody still has to work, before finding the right solution for the registration of this program.

I tried MacDrive 7 on my BootCamp XP install and had to uninstall it, thing kept crashing and the only reason I could see was MacDrive. Was a really weird error too - not BSOD, but still blue and deadly (instant crash, too fast to read). That UFS Explorer looks great though, thanks for the link. I only need read-only anyways (unless it's terribly slow ).

I use MacDrive 7.1 for free.

I seriously cannot put any serial or keygen here ... Be patient and search the web sure you will find something.

 

Not sure why the previous version (7.0.10 I suppose) constantly gives me Blue Screen of Death in two or three hours on my Vista, hopefully the latest update I am using (7.1) can fix this issue.

MacDrive 7 I used on Windows XP Pro SP2 but after I upgraded to Vista Ultimate x64, since MacDrive isn't compatible with x64 systems I had to look for an alternative. I came upon HFSExplorer and it works fine, plus its 100% free. Sure, its not elegant as MacDrive and its not as easy, and some files don't extract properly but it works. Note to Vista users on HFSExplorer: You have to run hfsexplorer.exe as an administrator, otherwise it will not load your HFS partition properly.

I know there's a keygen for Macdrive 7.0 (I heard from a friend anyway ).

 

It uses the offline activation method. It gives you a generated serial that you put into Macdrive, it spits out a product ID, you put that into the keygen and it gives you an activation code that also goes in Macdrive. Tada, activated! Try Bay.

Macdrive is using product activation, pretty much in the same way as vista, it actually deactivated after I had disabled the oem crack for Vista, macdrive believed that it was a different machine and I had to contact them to get it re-activated.
