Vista's running with a score of 4.2 on my Pentium 4 Sony Vaio. It's almost 4 years old, so I wasn't amazingly surprised.

I've ran an old beta version of Vista on a P3 1999 Gateway. Opening the start menu literally took 5 minutes. I guess RTM might run quicker.

I scored a 1172.157

Specs:

Intel Überproc 18.2ghz, quad, 80 core (total 5824 ghz)

1 tb RDRAM

7 petabytes HDD space

nVidia Quadro FX 573843576 800gb PCI-E-E...-E

I also have OC/48 FICO internet at 2500mbps

Benchmark results:

Startup time: -0.854 (it starts up when you think about starting it - so it starts before you hit the power button, thus the "-")

IE Loading page time: 0.00000000000001 sec for 1 mb page

3dsMAX rendering time: 0.12 sec

Adobe Photoshop Filter Speed: 0.0000000215000054

Haha

Yea, the betas ran slow, even on Core 2s. I was nervous about using Vista RTM, but was put to ease after I used it.
