serraz Posted December 16, 2008 Share Posted December 16, 2008 hey all i installed the pkg on my asus p5q pro added all the device id into the info.plist and stuff like that but on boot it says ERROR: mac address from SPI is invalid. i was thinking mabe if there was a way to add the Mac addres sinto the info.plist would this fix the issue. Write the VENDOR ID of your Ethernet card. I have P5Q with Attansic L1 Ethernet ID 1026x1969 and have same problem. Correct driver for my ethernet does not exists for Mac OSX !!! I definetely don't know how is possible porting driver from a freeBSD or linux kernel module, but that module ATL1E does exist in freebsd and linux kernel, so the source is available, I posted it in another thread, maybe someone could help me telling me the way to do it. For example, how can I have the ATL1 kext source maybe editing it, with ATL1E source can reach something working... Check your Attansic device ID with DPCIManager.
