jalavoui
jajajaja, i'll write code for associate and handle rx/tx packets check if networkselector works - you'll need it to boot with -s and test the driver if you get a kernel panic Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/143/#findComment-507016 Share on other sites
jalavoui
iwi2100 i do feel this driver is almost ready to work we can use more people for testing and post logs read some posts back on howto use onyx to make clean logs and howto make comments before posting logs this really helps developing the driver iwi3945/4965 when you get Radio disabled by HW RF Kill switch -> REBOOT FROM WINDOWS WITH CARD POWERED ON you should do it if the driver doesn't change the rfkill status with networkselector otherwise the driver will not work because it's turned off iwi2200 i've seen an unexpected behaviour on this driver: this happens in a network with a reasonable good signal if i use curl to download a file i get a good speed download if i use safari/mozzila to browse the web the speed is very slow can someone check this - use the get script for testing curl maybe this is fixed in 10.4.xx or can be fixed by tunning the kernel with syctl -w commands iwi2100.dmg get.gz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/143/#findComment-507082 Share on other sites
jajajaja
hi again, yes , it gave a kernel panic ..I booted with -s -v then at some point it asked me if I want to give write privileges to boot disk in single mode, I wrote sh something, anyways, the after some more lines, it gave such a kernel panic (attached picture). did not notice that you posted another one 15 minutes ago, I'm upgrading to it, I'll send feedback shortly. I am not that hopeful that we can find more people to test this, 2100 is an old card, hope some folks would join, though. jjduro
congrats! ngui is fabulous! OK here are the log files for the latest build of 2100 driver, the dmg posted yesterday. The network selector window does not crash with this one (the previous version crashed right after it found the wireless network). But still, when I click connect, it just returns to the network selector and continues scanning, so it does not connect. Also the SS of the ngui, hope this is what you asked. jajajaja
The last build of 2100 boots up normal without any kernel panic, neither when using the ngui, no problem there. However it can not connect to the networks. (There is some process going on after I click connect, not like the previous ones instantly returning back to wir. net. list.) After some time (5-6 sec), it goes back to the list.I am attaching anything i have, I cleaned the logs with Onyx. The second pic shows the moment after I clicked connect. hmmm OK I'll just post in a few minutes what comes out of ''proper'' -s thing Edit: I could not get to the point of ./networkSelector bec it gave a KP,picture attached. 4.tiff 5.tiff dmesg.txt ioreg.txt system.txt.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/143/#findComment-507148 Share on other sites
